Best vet and staff I’ve been to, probably ever. Took care of my ferret in the best way possible when it seemed like our only option from other places would be to probably put her down. They not only identified the issue but ensured she would receive the best care. Now we have high hopes for recovery. Needless to say, I have found where I will be taking all my animals for future care.

From the initial visit, to every neurotic worry I have about my babies, SSAC is reassuring, gentle, loving and thorough when treating our pets. They are so amazing, whenever we pass by; our dog cries & whines to go inside! Best, most amazing experience ever.

Had a great experience! Everyone was so nice. Very calm and soothing environment that made our cat feel right at home.

I was very concerned about a nasal congestion-allergy problem my Chihuahua,Toby, had developed. He had been eating and throwing up grass, late Monday, while we were visiting out of town. Once back home, I was hoping his breathing condition would improve. It didn't. The congestion continued through that Monday night and into Tuesday morning. I called to get an appointment at a pet hospital. Unfortunately for us, we couldn't get in until the following Monday afternoon. I held him and comforted him through Tuesday evening and through the night. Still hoping, maybe, his breathing would get better. It didn't. It was too much. I called the pet hospital again Wednesday morning, and still, they were not able to get us in until the following Monday. I searched for more veterinarians on my phone. I found and called South Side Animal Clinic. They were able to get us in that afternoon at 4 o'clock.nWhen I arrived, the staff came out and assisted me, as I have to use a walker, and helped get Toby into the clinic. Within a short time, we were back in the examination room. The staff gathered information and brought his records up to date.We also ordered some tests I felt were necessary, since he is nearing 11 years old.nThe entire visit, from start to finish took less than an hour. The doctor prescribed me some medicine for his nasal congestion/allergies. After our visit, the staff helped us back into the truck.nEveryone at Southside Animal Clinic was professional, compassionate, and kind.nI'm looking forward to next Wednesday, when Toby and I return to the clinic. As I am confident he will be feeling much better.

Kind of like going to a new barber shop, I'm a bit skeptic of vets I haven't gone to before. South side was the only clinic who was able to fit me and my pup into their schedule during these times. They do their own blood work in house which is a bit more expensive than what I'm used to, but I also got results without even having to leave the clinic where normally, I'd wait a week or better. They were very good to me and my pup and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone new to the area. Everyone was very knowledgeable and the vet recommended some things to do in the long term for my pup but understood that I wanted to do my research before making any decisions.
