We signed our dog up for the well care plan at her yearly check up. She received her vaccinations. Within 24 hours she was eating grass and rug to vomit. (She is a 3 year old lab) has not chewed a rug ever.) Her stomachs was upset. When I contacted Banfield the person on the phone Brandy(not a Vet)said it was normal for a dog to chew rugs and that the vaccines would not cause her to have an upset stomach. I needed to bring her in and have an ultrasound and possibly surgery that would not be covered under the well care plan. The point is if the vaccines they gave her made her sick They should of acknowledged this and made it right. When I asked to speak to a vet or a manager I was told there was not one available and that was all the young girl named Brandy could do to help. Very unprofessional. I asked for my records to be faxed to a new vet and she said I had to come in and pick them up . Records other then vaccines take to long to fax.To make a long story short the person answering the phone was rude and uncooperative. My perfectly healthy dog was sick after I let them treat her and they were not willing to help make it right. After working in the medical field for 20 years and treating patients.... if you treat them and they have a reaction or something wrong after their appointment you bring them back in to see what it could possibly be and the person with a medical degree then diagnosis and you go from there with a treatment plan. The person on the phone does not do that. We will transfer our pet to a responsible Veterinary clinic and will not be returning to Banfield.

HEY! Want a great way to waste money and time? Maybe you just want another thing to stress about?nThis is the place for you.nnStaff is lacking in communication and tends to be condescending when speaking with clients. Overcharging for the smallest of things, such as CUTTING PILLS IN HALF. I understand they are a corporate company, who runs on the thought of “quantity” over “quality”, but they need to show a little more compassion when handling pets. I’ve witnessed livid owners upset about their animals being mistreated, and MY OWN pets refuse to go inside PetSmart now. This location needs to reevaluate their staff’s care, and maybe not treat your customers like they’re walking wallets, with no mind of how much you charge? We already have to pay 45+ every month, which doesn’t cover: the medicine (discounts do practically nothing), medical supplies (cones, topical treatments), not to mention this isn’t a real practice (only good for spay/neuter, for the first year of their life). Bills still come out to 50-100+ every time I’ve gone...that’s for one visit. I’m just saying I’ve seen a huge turnover rate for them, and it seems like none of the assistants or vets are aware or even bother with the anxieties and concerns that pet owners have. You could ask them to check on something for you a million times, and they will still forget because of the influx of animals.

We lost our dog to cancer, but Banfield made the process so much more bearable. We have adopted a new puppy, and going in for check-ups is always easy, and the staff is incredibly enthusiastic and helpful. Thank you so much guys!

They are amazing with our pet. We can see the care on the way they take our pet. I strongly recommend this place.

I have always loved Banfield and used them for my pet needs since I got my first dog 9 years ago! I had Banfield pet insurance in Indiana, Pennsylvania, New York and now Georgia. One of the things I loved was that my dog's health information moved wherever we moved. They had electronic record keeping before our human healthcare system was more electronic and your medical record was more portable. Overall, Banfield vets and staff always provided/provide my dogs with great care; they're very caring, intelligent, and responsive. I've never had a problem and will continue to use them for my vet needs. Having a plan has also saved me thousands. I can't imagine going somewhere else.
