We have used Marianna Chapel for many years now and they are the definition of great! Everyone there is so professional and makes you feel welcome. Everything ran so smoothly and just how we wanted. They made the process so easy for our family. We can’t say enough good things about them. Thank y’all so much for helping our family through our difficult times!

I’m from Marshall County Alabama and Charles is the owner of several of our cemeteries and people I do wish you could see the most deplorable conditions we have at ours! He never visits his cemeteries here! We have a southern tradition of decoration every May which is today, this cemetery is call Marshall Memorial Gardens. He will do nothing to keep the upkeep on this and other cemeteries maintained at all! I’m sure your cemetery looks good because he had to face everyone in Florida but we don’t get as much as a return phone call! News stations have done reports on this several times but with a bunch of fake promises from Mr Kent! He’s stingy and does not put any money into his cemeteries in Alabama at all! People I really wish you could really see the condition of these cemeteries because I can assure you you would be highly upset at the looks of it! Mr Kent I highly suggest you visit your cemeteries here in Alabama and not just take people’s money and forget about them because that’s exactly what your doing! Stop being a coward and answer your phone to people’s that’s been trying to call you because this problem is not going away I can assure you of that! Enough is enough of ripping people off! I wish I could give this a damn zero star!! Do the right thing or turn it over to the state!

My Mother in Law passed away on December 24, 2016 at 7pm, we contacted Marianna Chapel Funeral Home. Mr. Whitehead and his associate came to the house with so much professionalism and patience, I want to thank all the staff with their word of encouragement and support and the service they provided. I also want to thank Pastor John for his word of comfort he gave at the grave site. On behalf of my family I want to thank every single one of you for your support at this most difficult time.

If I could give them a 0 I would. We had a delivery too early, 20 weeks, so lost our child before we got to know her. On our first meeting with Marianna Chapel the owner's son, Charles, was just blunt and thoughtless. No I am sorry for your loss or anything, just cold questions. We then asked to see our child again before she was cremated. This question was met with a finding that our child was in fact in Panama City and setting up a time was difficult and only seemed like an inconvenience to Charles to arrange. Days later we received a call that if we wanted to see her again we would have to be in Panama in 2 hours . The only pleasant experience we had was at the crematorium, where the gentleman that took care of us was sincere and heartfelt. We then did not hear from the funeral home for almost 3 weeks until we contacted them. The process took longer than we were originally informed and noone cared to inform us of this. Over a month after her birth we were finally able to bring home our little girl's ashes. We we're expecting her clothes and found they we're not returned when we got home as we had requested. We then had to call repeatedly for almost a week, with no respect for a return phone call from Charles, to find out her clothes had been burned. Those clothes were the only thing we have of our child. Charles continued to show little to no concern for our concerns. As a company who's job it is to deal with families in a time of great despair you would think that some empathy could be shown. I wouldn't even bring my dead appliances to them to have them handle them. Please use someone else in Marianna and save yourself extra heartache during this horrible time. They are clearly only in this business for money, not because they care .

Marianna Chapel is the very best! My grandfather passed away Sunday at 1:30 am. They came as quickly as possible! Jared and Kody were extremely nice and thoughtful to my family! They were gentle with my grandaddy and comforting to my granny and family! They asked several times if we needed anything or if there was anything they could do for us! We were told by several people that they have never seen someone look as good as my grandaddy did, especially considering how sickly my grandaddy looked! He wasn't caked in make up, his beard looked natural, he truly looked like my grandaddy! I would recommend this funeral home to ANYONE! To Jared and Kody, I want personally thank you for all that you've done, I know this is your job but neither of you acted as if it were just another day on the job. Thank you all so very much!
