I have been going to St. Francis Animal Hospital for at least 40 years now. It has always been a wonderful place. Everyone there loves animals and they care so much. I trust them with the care of my puppy-who is not really a puppy- he is 18 years old. Would never go anywhere else. They are all so professional and thorough.

St. Francis Animal Hospital has been very accommodating to me. I got a new puppy and wanted to get her checked ASAP I called around and even my regular vet couldn’t/wouldn’t fit me in for a few days. Since I started using St.Francis they have been great. They are professional, reliable and explain everything in detail and are always available to answer question. I have nothing but praise for the staff at St.Francis Animal Hospital

We have been coming here for 30 years. We have always been happy with the service and care our hairy kids have received. Dr Parendo has been wonderful, caring and extremely thorough with our hairy kid. The staff is also amazing especially Jennifer, Carlton and Sam. I highly recommend this office.

We thought Oyster, our 11 year old cat, was just getting cranky and sullen in his senior years. And smelly. It wasn’t until an infection revealed how bad his teeth were that led to some changes. One year ago, Oyster became a new man. St Francis Hospital performed extensive dental surgery and after a brief period of recuperation, Oyster has returned to his friendly, energetic, sociable, handsome self. He has adapted easily to eating without all his teeth, and best of all, he is no longer smelly. ❤ufe0f

I do not recommend Dr Pearl Shiver. Her bedside manner is fine but she is not knowledgeable enough to put the care of innocent lives in. I had my cat checked by her for an eye problem that obviously did not look OK. My cat could barely open her eyes and she said that it was minor and not an issue at all. My cat was not well and I thank God that I got a second opinion. The second vet told me that she needed surgery asap and referred my to a specialist. The specialist informed me about the damage occurring to her eyes and she had eye surgery very soon after. Had I listened to Dr Shivers, my cat could have damaged her sight and her suffering would have been prolonged. This is a big error and I would not recommend her. As far as the vet techs are concerned, they seemed very nice, competent and caring. They were very good at handling a feral kitty. Office staff is OK. UPDATE: They should allow at least one pet parent to accompany their pet. Of course, COVID19 prescreened, masked, and with hands sanitized. We shouldn't be expected to hand over our pets blindly and not be there to comfort them or witness what they're undergoing.
