Dr. Steven Dratch

By far, the best veterinary hospital on the island. After bad experiences elsewhere, I started bringing my pets (2 dogs, 1 cat) to Dr Dratch and Dr J. The care they provide is superior because they actually care. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good veterinary practice with smart vets who always do the right thing.

Bayshore Animal Hospital was directly responsible for the death of our cat Pampers. Dr. Terrel did not diagnose our boy properly, and because of that we lost him. I will never recommend this place to anyone! They are only out for your wallet!

I was unable to go into the office during the visit bc of covid (understandably) but I feel they tacked on some unneccessities onto the bill and rushed through it to get a little more money.

Dr J Dratch is the best vet!

To Dr Steven Dratch,nnI took my eleven year old Shih tzu Louie for a visit 06/11/20 with tears in my eyes and my heart full of pain. Louie has been in my family for 11 years and has helped us all through some of the toughest life experiences once can only imagine. Before bringing Louie to you he had seen a vet who said the only option was to put him down. We so desperately were in search of a second opinion, a miracle, a blessing.. My family and I unfortunately took up most of the parking lot spaces preparing for the worst and say goodbye to our companion if that’s what it had came to because that is how much he means to all of us! Not only did you give us hope but you gave us a chance to keep loving our best friend and very special part of our family. I want to thank you because of your knowledge, and dedication to your expertise but most importantly how kind and understanding and optimistic, and just the way you cared for our baby! We travelled from Greenport to Bayshore and will continue to! We will not ever be able to Thank you enough .. as I stated earlier in our conversation I truly believe you are god sent! Thank you for being so amazing in your profession and so compassionate towards Louie. The Naut family will forever be grateful.
