I started coming here on a friend's referral and I'm so glad I did. Since the first visit they've been great. Always gentle with my cat. They don't do unnecessary tests, they're reasonably priced, and they are always quick to get us in.

Burnt Hills vet has amazing reviews for a reason. I am lucky enough to live in Burnt Hills so choosing this vet was easy for me, but let me tell you, I will never take my pet anywhere else. I have had my one year old Doberman for only 3 months and he’s already had to go see them 3 times, once for his initial visit and vaccine and twice for sick visits. The first time my dog got into something that didn’t agree with him and was throwing up all night. We contacted the on call vet at 11pm and although he decided it wasn’t an ASAP emergency he laid out a plan for us and told us that if it got worse, to show up before the vet even opened. It got worse, so we got our pup right in the next day. Yes, the vet agrees to see our guy before they even opened. He didn’t say to send him to a 24 hour emergency vet, he gave us advice on how to take care of him at home and then made him his first priority the next day. It was incredible. The second time, our dog couldn’t keep food or water down for 24 hours. We called the Burnt Hills Vet the next day and they got him right in for a sick appointment. They discovered he had a rock in his GI tract. Scary and disheartening as a pet owner. The vet wasn’t sure if he needed surgery or not but decided to wait it out with our pup to see if it passed before submitting to surgery. Well, our guy spent the entire day at the hospital being fed Vaseline and getting checked periodically for movement. They ended up being able to get the rock out without surgery. Not only that, but they kept me updated every step of the way and informed me immediately when the rock had passed. I cannot thank Kate and the BH vet hospital enough for their patience and care of my guy. If you are looking for a vet that’s reliable and will do everything possible for you and your pet, go to Burnt Hills. It will be infinitely worth it to know your pup is in good hands. I hear too many horror stories of “we don’t know what wrong with your pet” - whenever I go in, they always know. THANK YOU to everyone there for always making sure my guy is well cared for. It means the world to have such an amazing place right in my backyard.

They charged at least $700 less than Sand Creek vet for a minor surgery for my dog. That alone gives them 5 stars. Was able to get in quickly and like every vet, they are great with the pets.

My family has been with Burnt Hills Vet for many years and through the lives of eleven pets. Cancer, dental issues, heart disease, normal aging, and vaccinations have all been treated here by the best veterinarians and techs. We have never had a negative experience here and our pets have never been scared to go to the vet. Since covid, the clerks and techs have developed a drive up system that offers immediate in-person contact and keeps everyone safe while still providing human care and connection. When it looked like an expensive and risky surgery was the only option for my dog, they taught me how to do physical therapy with him and we were able to avoid surgery and get him back to full health. I wish that my human doctors were as good as the Burnt Hills Vet crew.

Burnt Hills Vet is second to none when it comes to your pets. Our family has been bringing our cats to them for over 20 years. Our current kittens have had a litany of problems and BHV has made taking care of them simple and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and understanding. They respond quickly to questions. They get you in asap in emergencies. And with COVID-19 they have a great setup and have made visits there easier than visiting my own doctors.
