I love this clinic, even with the current wait time situation. I’ve only ever had good experiences here with every one of my pets! The staff is professional, good at what they do, and they’re all very personable.nI also appreciate how mindful they are about costs - they are always transparent with their prices. And their prices are so much cheaper than any other vet clinic. I seriously highly recommend Afford a Vet.nnThere are a lot of reviews that complain about the wait time - this is because they book up FAST due to the quarantine. It was not like this before Covid. Be prepared to dedicate a *few hours or more* to wait for your slot to get your pet seen. You also NEED to show up at 9am or earlier. If this isn’t feasible for you, maybe consider taking your pet to a different clinic that takes scheduled appointments.nnThey are probably so stressed every day with Covid going on, appointments stacked up back-to-back every single day, and I’m sure they get a lot of sass from cranky and impatient customers that think the world revolves around only them. Please give them some grace - they are working hard to give quality care to as many pets as they can squeeze in.ud83dude42
I arrived at 9 am signed in immediately. It’s 11 am I am still waiting. If you have a full day to commit to waiting around for an unknown period of time I am sure this is a great clinic. By 930 am I counted 15 people were signed up waiting to be seen and I was the third person here. Brutal wait times! Now I know you pay for what you get and here I go learning another lesson.
Afford-A-Vet is the only place that we take our pets! They offer best of care like they love our pets like we do. They truly get to the root of the problems with our animals and I love them for that. I would recommend them to anyone. We have 3 animals and have more that have passed on that have gone to them. We will continue to give our animals their loving care.
My dogs love coming to this vet! Wait times even without Covid are horrible! They need someone who can just do nail trims and shots - sort of an express! Would go a little faster than waiting 2 hours for just a nail trim. Prices are great but considering going elsewhere, so you don’t spend all day there!
Always the most plesant staff !! Both my Dog & I Love Dr. Southerland & always we have. Always had the best treatment from them over the years & I Would highly recommend them to everyone. I know there is generally a wait, no matter what time you arrive, but I also know I can trust the service I get from them & other places most often have a several days to a week wait to get an appointment to get into them.
