McMonigle Veterinary Hospital

We started going to this clinic when my partner and I adopted our border collie puppy. Every step of the way the staff was informative and patient no matter how many questions we had and really made us feel empowered to make the right choices for us. When my cat needed to come in for an emergency visit the staff was kind and squeezed us in last minute. After every visit we are pleasantly surprised by how reasonable and affordable our vet visits are, even the emergency visits.

Amazing experience here. I've only been going here for a couple months, all post-pandemic lock down. Always impressed by their professionalism and demeanor. Wish I could interact with them in the office, but they are great at adapting to the shutdowns, and they always treat my dog so well.nAll treatments and 1 surgery done amazingly well. No complications. Had a non-immeduate post surgery question and got a call back within 2 hours of my inquiry from the surgeon that treated my dog.

So Covid puts a real wrinkle in vet visits, and I get that. While my previous vet office didn't adapt well to the circumstances, McMonigle has it completely figured out. They schedule appointments appropriately-timed. Check in via cell phone is fast and easy (do the pre-registration online and it's even easier) and the vet, Dr. Martinez, pops on a few seconds later. And we had a gentle, kind conversation about the love of my life, my dog Gertie. I wasn't lectured or scolded, which I had been by our previous vet. They took such care of my dog who was previously pensive and scared of vet visits. They called us after the exam was done and summarized the visit. And then Gertie ran out with cheese on her muzzle. The best part? They spelled Gertie's name correctly. Previous vet office never could get it right. I know Gertie can't spell and doesn't care, but I do.

I really like the vets there. I've gone there for a long as I can remember. Even before 1987.

Our veterinarian got shut down due to covid and so when our cat got injured we didnt know where to go. I found this veterinarian via google and liked the reviews so decided to try it out. Dr. Larson was amazing, thorough and knew what was wrong almost instantly before he even saw our cat. He will now be our primary vet for all 4 of our animals. Very impressed with him and the cost ended up coming in lower then what we were quoted, which at this time was a little baby miracle. ;) also, the front staff was so nice, accommodating and honestly im very thankful for her as well. :) highly recommend!
