My dog had an infection on her spay incision on Thanksgiving night and was on a lot of pain and we needed to take her to an emergency clinic. We went to AES and she got treated by an amazing and very helpful staff. She recovered really well after antibiotics were given to her and now she is doing great! We are thankful for all the great help during Thanksgiving night

This was by far the best experience I have had with a veterinarian, especially considering the current world health situation. These conditions would make it difficult for any vet/animal hospital to safely operate, but the team at AES was amazing! They quickly answered me when I was concerned for my new pup's health, got us in asap, made paperwork a breeze, treated him like their own, and had us out the door with the best information and correct medication. They kept us well-informed throughout the process and made it painless for my partner and I in our stressful time. From reception, to technician, to veterinarian, the whole team was perfect and all I could ever ask for.

Brought my cat in, in the middle of the night about 3 weeks ago. Symptom is sudden and acute ataxia. The vet that was in said that he did not notice the ataxia even though my cat was still showing it when we got home. The examination came up empty and he suggested that we perform more tests. We declined since they were not able to offer quicker results than if they were performed at our regular vet. Took our cat to our regular vet and she noticed that the cat's eardrums were puffed up, indicating a possible ear infection. Went home with some meds for the cat and he's been doing better. Called AES later in the week to see how this could had been missed in their exam. The person who answered offered some explanation and then said she'd have a manager contact me, as if to just get me off the phone. It is now almost 3 weeks later and it is pretty clear at this point that somebody dropped the ball. So I find myself writing this review to share my experience. If you had a good experience with them, great. But this experience left me wondering if an exam was thoroughly performed and the qualifications/experience of the vet. It really feels like they just took my money and ran.

I have never been moved to write a review before. This vet was more responsive, thoughtful, caring, and professional than any of the other emergency vets in the area. They saw my sixteen year old companion kitty quickly, kept us very informed and share our options is an easy to understand way. I will go to them with all my emergency vet needs. You cannot do better.

Kind & compassionate care. The people working the front desk were incredibly helpful and calm which is a big step up from a lot of emergency vets! The vet was straight forward and presented us with options for moving forward with our dogs care. The only downside was that the cost of the $75 antibiotic they wanted to put our dog on was NOT disclosed to us before billing, which was frustrating since it was a compounded med they legally cannot take back. Even then, they managed to take a few dollars off for us. Overall the price of services is standard for emergency vets, but I would highly recommend getting your meds at a regular pharmacy if you can as the prices of medications are the real shocker here. I would take my pet here again in an emergency which bodes well as I am very picky with my vets!nnCovid procedure is standard - curbside pick up of your pet, fill out paperwork in the car. They call to do an intake (pets history, reason for visit, etc) and then the vet calls you to consult after performing an exam. If your pet is experiencing end of life you can mask up and come in to be with your pet
