Update to my initial review: There have been a lot of changes at this location, staff turnover mainly. Choosing a vet is like choosing a pediatrician for your child. It is upsetting having someone different for their care repeatedly. When prices get raised yearly for care, maybe the staff should get taken care of out of some of that profit so that retention is better. Just a thought.nnI have been taking my dog to Dr. Hollan for a few years. We followed her here to this clinic from Lynnwood. I recently took my dog in for a check up, shots, and teeth cleaning. Dr. Hollan discovered a heart murmur. She explained everything to me and what we needed to do to further diagnose what my dog had. I can not recommend her enough or the staff at this location. Wade and Stephanie whom also work there, have shown me so much compassion over the last few days with all my worrying about my furry baby.

Very incompetent. Very unhelpful. Doctor sounds like the Botox went to their brain, kept trying to up sell food and meds they have contracts for. Told them twice I didn’t want the flea combo pill, got sneaky and sold it to me anyway. Scheduled appointments without asking. Somehow my dog ended up on a different account, once they fixed it it was under my husband and I couldn’t even update the payment- that’s a corporate problem but still. Also worked for petsmart and have insider knowledge of how Banfields are typically run, some locations are great. I don’t recommend this one

i’ve been too this location twice now and have been very disappointed. the first time they were very unclear and failed to tell me that during the appointment i’d have to wait 30 min while my cats were inside. if i would’ve know this before hand i would’ve scheduled different and accordingly, but then had to cancel prior appointments to just sit in my car for 30 min. they also said they’d be able to give me a discount for both my cats appointments because it was the first time, but then only applied it to one of my cats finally prices. Additionally, they are unreliable on time. i had an appointment for a 4:30 appointment, and being a cat owner it’s not easy bringing cats to the vet- they hate the car, carrier, and it’s just not as easy as dogs. Banfield decided to call me 7 minutes before my appointment to tell me that they were running 20 minutes behind schedule, this would’ve been nice to know before I left because i am now having to put my pets in an uncomfortable situation for longer. Have been going to the location in seattle for years and haven’t experienced this much dysfunctionality.

The Vet told me my dogs prong collar was to tight and the way she said it was condescending and rude. Taken my dog several times (with his prong collar) to the mill creek banfield vet and no comment like this has ever been made to me. FYI prong collars are supposed to be snug. She said she couldn’t even fit a finger through the collar, while I watched her stick her finger under the collar. LOL Keep your opinions to yourself if you don’t know better.
