McKinney Animal hospital is filled with great people who genuinely love and care for your fur babies! My 3 animals have been patients there for over 3 years and Dr. Fry and Dr. O have both been excellent Dr’s over my Maltese, and Dr. P has helped my cats health tremendously. From the front staff (Michael is one of the front desk and is such a kind and positive guy), to the groomers (Soul is a groomer and is so gentle and takes her time while grooming for your pets best experience), to the techs (Tyler is great and is very quick and efficient) to all the Doctors in the back, it really is refreshing to know these hard working people love my animals and want the best for them as much as I do.nnThank you M.A.H!!!

The BEST McKinney has to offer! MAH has the most caring, compassionate and professional staff I have ever had the pleasure to meet! Dr. Cisick, Suzanne, Chris, Michael, Sol and Jamie (office manager) and the ENTIRE STAFF are WONDERFUL!! I would not trust my fur-babies to anyone or anyplace else...EVER!! God Bless You All!!

Called this morning and spoke to a wonderful woman. I told her my 13 yr old was very distraught because of her unresponsive hamster. We thought it might have started hibernating. I told her I just wanted to know if it had a heartbeat. She said they don't treat hamsters. I told her we were only looking for a heartbeat and not a teeth cleaning or checkup or anything past 30 seconds. If could just borrow a stethoscope I'd do it myself. She told me to bring my daughter and the critter by and a tech could listen for a heartbeat. I thanked her. After school got my daughters and the critter into the car and took them to McKinney animal hospital. Different girl answered the phone, I explained what was discussed, she stuttered, put me on hold and then disconnected me. I called back, was put on hold and waited. Then a 3rd person answered the phone. I explained the situation, she asked what vehicle I was in and then put me on hold. She then picked up and sent me back to the previous woman. That woman proceeded to tell me that they don't treat hamsters and therefore they don't know if it's in hibernation. I asked if they can tell if it has a heartbeat or not, because that is all I want to know. She then said they don't know and tried to refer me to a frisco vet. I'm in McKinney. My small business is in McKinney. I'm ashamed any local business would do this to a crying 13yr old girl. I'll be now looking for a new place for my animals and my referrals to go. Got home and called 3 other McKinney vets and they all said they'd love to help, but they are closed or will be by the time I got there. Glad I wasted my time relying on the promise McKinney animal hospital made to me.

Love everyone here. They truly understand that they're taking care of a family member, not just a 'pet'.

We realized over the weekend that our puppy had a toe injury. Our (now previous) vet would not be able to see him for a week and a half, and the call center who makes appointments advised taking him to the emergency vet. Our friends recommended calling their vet, MAH. I am SO GLAD I did! Throughout the course of that morning, I spoke with both the practice manager and another employee, both of who were extremely professional, caring, and helpful. MAH did not have any open appointments, but asked if we would be comfortable dropping off our dog on Monday morning so he could be seen as time allowed by the vet and staff. We of course agreed, and they called me with an update by lunchtime Monday. Not only did Dr. Frye thoroughly explain our dog's condition, but she also found that he was missing a vaccine booster due to our now previous vet not scheduling it or informing us it was needed. Every employee I have spoken with so far has been compassionate and extremely professional. Communication is fantastic, and I am confident that our sweet dog is now receiving the best care and will live a long, healthy life under their care.
