Karns Animal Clinic

The previous vet that I saw for my dog (Dr. Sam) was not one that I would go back to, but I recently had an emergency with my cat and they were able to fit her in that same day. The vet and staff for my kitty were attentive, friendly and calming. I'm very pleased I decided to come back and try their services again.

I've been going to Karns Animal Clinic for 3 years now. They have always been professional and friendly. I love Dr. Wright. He has taken care of my three dogs now for some time. They have the lowest prices in town too. I highly recommend them.

I had a horrible experience with the staff starting with the front desk and the vet and then the owner. They dropped the ball and my pet and I suffered for it. They were contacted in advance to set up payment from a third-party due to me being unemployed. This information was not in the file when I returned for my pet after surgery and they refused to let me have him. So they held him as hostage and my dog had just undergone major surgery. He was left alone all night in a strange place in a cage. They did not feed him or give him water. The next day after the third party calls to tell them they are paying the bill they call me to tell me to bring an additional $100.00 and I can have my dog. I told them I did not have it and what was it for but they couldn't tell me accept that it was for them keeping him all night. I talked to someone else who was just as cold and condescending as the first. I asked to speak to the doctor but told he was out. This was 3 hours before closing and I could not come up with the $100.00 by 6:00 so I thought at a $100.00 a night there was no way I was going to get my dog back. I felt I had to go tell him good bye. After being scolded and lectured for 30 minutes they let me take him home. With no information at all about how to care for him. The woman Sarah handed me his medicine with an attitude and that was it. But Sarah was the cause of the whole thing. The third party had her name and the quote for the surgery. So she had spoken with them. She is a very bitter unhappy person and she wants everyone else to be unhappy to. Don't fall for the affordable office visit fee because they add-on for every little thing and they have no problem with adding on just for the heck of it. I doubt they even have a fee schedule.

I love this place they are always so helpful and nice every time i call or take my animals in. They took great care of my rabbits. They did a great job with my dog. They are affordable with each service they offer.
