The services and customer service care is the very best.

Very unprofessional and unorganized. We received a recommendation on this place and this is now a regret. The atmosphere of the business just seemed a little off, but we continued to give them another chance, due to the recommendation. 2 days prior to the funeral we receive a text around 10pm to verify the day of the funeral, (we also sent them a copy of the obituary that they could have easily checked). Upon arrival to the funeral, we notice the incorrect casket was used, and we sent them a picture of the casket we ordered, when we ordered it and had it sent to the funeral home. The brothers seemed to know nothing, and simply said the wrong casket was delivered. If they had the casket for 2 weeks prior to the service why wouldn’t they notify us that the wrong casket was delivered so that we could exchange it, when they notified us to let us know they received the casket? Secondly we dropped off a bag of things to dress my aunt in for the services, and after noticing the casket was incorrect, we also noticed her earrings were missing. Again, if we give you a list of items why not notify us if something went wrong, rather they were lost, forgotten, etc. Planning a funeral is stressful enough, the day of the funeraln(with the right funeral services), shouldn’t be stressful but more so focused on saying goodbye to our loved one. Not on realizing everything that was planned has now gone wrong and wondering what has happened to all of our things that we spent money on and trusted the Blakely funeral home to take care of. I definitely recommend rethinking using them as a final decision. The lack of organization, and communication was a final straw when we presented them with all the info and things they needed to do the job we expected, however those expectations were not met.

Blakely Funeral Service provided 5 star services for my brother and my brother-n-law in 2019. Their professionalism took away another unwanted stress during our times of sorrow and pain. YES, I highly recommend Blakely Funeral Service for your needs. God Bless!
