Green River Veterinary Hospital

As a child, Dr. Edwards used to bring us to the hospital and teach us about his new medical equipment. He exposed us to the benefits of keeping up with modern-research and advances within the medical field. He used to take us on horse-drawn carriage rides across the Pacific Northwest. His care for all animals; sheep, cows, horses, tortoises, snakes, rodents, bunnies, fish, dogs, cats, ferrets, and birds were of the highest quality.nnIf you need a vet, trust his judgment.

I took my dog here on emergency because people recommended it and it honestly was not a good experience. the only people that were semi-nice was the front desk. when we got checked in and taken back, we sat in the room for awhile with no information. When the doctor finally came in, he didn’t even greet, pet, or say hello to my dog at all, he honestly didn’t even really look at her. She was really scared when he came in and started barking(we rescued her and she always is scared of men) and instead of him acquainting himself with my dog he just put a muzzle on her right away. That made me and her very uncomfortable considering she usually warms up if you just say hi and pet her. Considering he works with animals all day long i think he would have a better routine or attitude when meeting new patients. After he did all the tests and exam, he didn’t even look at me and tried to just leave. I then asked if he checked her paws like i stated when i called for the exam, he said “oh ya sorry i forgot”, looked at them and said they would give her meds. She also got a biopsy done and he said that I NEEDED TO CALL THEM BACK for the results, they wouldn’t call us which made me really confused. It was overall just a very uncomfortable experience and i would not recommend this place for anybody whose pets have anxiety or trouble adjusting because they don’t seem to accommodate well. We paid and left but it was just an upsetting experience especially since my dog was in pain and they didn’t seem like they really cared at all.

This has been our family vet for many years - Dr. Edwards and his staff are simply the best. Highly recommended.

Love the receptionist!! Dr.Edwards is amazing as well! Took my dog in for his nails and dental done and they did great! When he needed a surgery, I knew I had to choose them because they're the best vet I've ever been to!

My wife and I have been taking our pets to Dr Edward's for 13 years now we moved to puyallup 2 years ago and after trying 2 separate vets out here we now just drive back to auburn green river vet we just feel it's more thorough and personable will keep going back here for fur babys
