Lakeland Veterinary Hospital - Kurt Riemer, DVM

We love Dr. Reimer and the staff at Lakeland Hills Vet. We have a dog and three cats, so we have been in there quite a few times. It is pretty easy to get in to see them within a day or two which is very nice. We were extremely pleased when we had an emergency situation with our dog that they got us in so fast. They are kind to our pets and treat them as their own.

The staff was very helpful when I called with a very sick cat that had already been seen by two other vets. They quickly Got me in to see the doctor. The vet was very knowledgeable and compassionate. He reviews the records I brought in from the other vets. My cat seemed relaxed with him. He managed to diagnose the problem where the others had not. My sweet cat had cancer and we elected to put him down and stop his suffering. This was done in a very compassionate way, allowing both myself and my husband to be there. It was very peaceful. If I get a new pet I will take them here.

This vet is so much more like the vet I loved in California. Dr Riemer is very polite and speaks in a manner that is kind yet to the point. The staff here is excellent and friendly

I have been a practicing health professional for many years now and I know if you have an emergency I try my best to accommodate my patients. This office is the worst veterinary office I have ever have the displeasure to be part of. My pup was not feeling well and I called middle of the week and the response was that the vet was too busy to see her and that I should take her to ER in Tacoma or another emergency clinic. They wouldn’t make any accommodations and were not caringnI took my puppy to A Small animal hospital and they were extremely nice and saw my two pups no problemnI tried again to give this office a chance and my husband called for medication as July 4th is approachingnThe staff was a bit rude saying they were very busy and they were going to call backn2 hours went by and no call so I told my husband to call back while we are busy with patients ourselvesnOnce again not caring, rudeness, and the vet called and was very upset and acted very unprofessionalnIf you don’t want to see emergencies or respond to the need of your animal patients and their owners and you feel bother by this then don’t be a VET!! It’s ridiculous!!nI DO NOT recommend this office to nobody!!!nUnless you want to be chasing this man, dealing with attitudes and trying to get care somewhere else when you’re already a patient at the office!!
