Very helpful and nice Vet Office. They were recommended by someone working at a pet store where I adopted my kitten. The doctors and nurses are very nice and knowledable and the office staff respond quickly and try to make appointments as convenient as possible with different options, especially during the pandemic. Highly recommend.

They went above and beyond. My doberman got a really bad cut on her nose and I called and they told me to bring her right away! I’m so thankful for their help. I highly recommend them!

The office staff at our previous vet was very disorganized and even if we’d show up on time for an appointment they’d still make us wait. We tried Pet Calls because they’re right down the road from where we live and wow the difference has been night and day. Our previous vet kept all records by paper and Pet Calls is totally with the ages having everything kept digitally. They have their own app and you get notifications any time your pet is due for an exam or shots.nnThe first time we went our pup had an ear infection and even though they were booked they promptly made room for him. Our previous vet kept prescribing medicine for his ear and the issue kept coming back time and time again. Dr Abolafia took the time to inspect his ear and recommended a cleaning. They gave him light anesthesia and cleaned his ear really well and he NEVER had an issue again. We were also really surprised that even with anesthesia and everything they did for us the price was very reasonable.nnThe office staff, the vets, and the assistants are all on top of their game and very kind. You’ll never feel rushed. That, and the system they use for appointments and record keeping make them our favorite vet office and even though we’re about to move to Boca we cannot imagine going anywhere else! Stop reading this and schedule an appointment for your fur baby! You won’t be disappointed!

I will make an effort to leave an honest unbiased review of Petcalls.nnI have been taking my dog to Petcalls for a number of years which have been your standard Vaccinations/checkups etc. Towards the end of November I started to notice my dog was losing weight so I brought her in. Upon arrival I advised the nurse that my dog had been vomiting occasionally , eating grass and I felt that she had lost a fair amount of weight. During this visit I was called by multiple people at Petcalls none of which knew why I had brought her in so I had to repeatedly explain, in this time the nurse called me and told me that my dog had in fact lost considerable weight since her last visit. So finally I got a call from a female Dr that again did not know why my dog was there, at this point she had been at Petcalls for about 4-1/2 hours and I was told they were backed up. As I’m explaining to this Dr my dogs symptoms I brought up her weight loss and she was completely unaware, while I was on the line she asked the nurse and he replied “Oh Yeah” as he had forgotten. So about $700 worth of tests later I was told that she was fine and was given a 5 day supply of antacid which was on Dec 15. They also forgot to do a couple of the things I asked them to handle why she was there such as a nail trimming which I asked for “several” times.nnSo as my dogs condition began to worsen I brought her back to Petcalls and was introduced to Dr Robert’s. After another $800 and multiple suggested diagnoses from her gallbladder to her liver, to a stomach herniation that ultimately were all shot down, I was told the only solution would be an invasive biopsy or to try to solve it with several medications. My dog was almost 13 and I did not want to put her through surgery and potentially chemo/radiation as it was suggested it was some sort of mass in her stomach that could not be seen in an X-Ray or Ultrasound. Ultimately my dog lived about a month after this, during this time Dr Robert’s was available to me via his personal cell and was for the most part responsive within hours of me reaching out with questions.nnThe reason I am posting this review is not to bash Petcalls for the treatment she received or didn’t. The reason I am posting this is after several years of them caring for my pet, not one person called to see how she was, not one person cared that she has now passed, while Dr Roberts made an effort he never called to check on how the meds were affecting her there was no doubt that not one person in that facility cared anything for what my dog went through or that she is gone. They are overwhelmed with animals daily and unfortunately it is clear that Petcalls exists for profits.nnThe point of my post is please do not make the same mistake I did and take your pet to an animal hospital. After 7-8 years of bringing my pet there not one person cared in the event of her death. Take your pet to a small practice where it can develop a relationship with a specific Dr, so when something is off about your pet the Dr knows your animal well enough to notice. Dr Roberts saw my dog one time and acted as if to care but why would he after meeting my beautiful dog once. I will never live down the regret of not getting my dog personalized care when it may have been a matter of life or death. My friend lost her dog her vet sent a card signed by every member and flowers. My poor dog meant nothing to this place just my method of payment right to the bitter end.nnRIP Cassie
