Dr. Riera and her assistant were very compassionate and knowledgeable. I took in a sick stray cat because she was very yellow and not eating. They ran some tests and offered some treatment options, but in the end we concluded nothing could be done for the sweet cat so I decided to put her to sleep. It was a very hard decision, but VCA Knowles was very professional and caring. I did not have to wait to be seen since I went in the early morning. Overall, I had a great experience in one of the hardest times of my life. A little pricey, but well worth it. Highly recommend.

These people were very helpful while my cat was very sick. They kept me very informed throughout the whole visit which alleviated my stress. They attended to me in a timely manner but I did make several calls beforehand to make sure the wait time was reasonable to the timely hood of my cat’s ailment. Overall amazing service and wonderful people. :)

I called VCA Knowles on snapper creek after I had called my regular Vet who didn’t want to make an exception and let me bring in my dog for an urgent visit, even though I call early in the morning. I did call other vets and same thing. But I’m so glad I called knowles, they took care of us without a problem, they told us waiting time will be about 1 to 1-1/2 hour but it was quicker. They’re very professional and I’m very happy with them! I definitely recommend this place.

i found a dog under my house, and it had suffered some sort of bite to its eye.ni am an animal lover, and so i took him to my community vet office.nthey treated him, gave him antibiotics, and referred me to VCA knowles. in snapper creek.nthe staff is amazing! Summary: Went here for a pet emergency after waiting near 3 hours at a vet down the street. Was seen immediately, concerns were addressed, pet was diagnosed, and treated all within 20 minutes of arriving. Staff seemed to care about the pet and it felt like they enjoyed helping out during this stressful time.nnFull review: We ended up at this vet after initially being referred to an “Emergency vet” down the street. Our dog had uncontrollable vomiting, swollen face, hives, and heavy panting. We went to the first “Emergency vet” office and ended up waiting outside for near 3 hours. After calling Knowles and explaining the situation they agreed that it was an emergency situation and they could get us in right away. Upon arriving I called the number and a vet technician rushed out to the car to check on our dog. They took our dog into the clinic immediately and had us fill out the paperwork. After the paperwork was completed they sent us to an examination room. The DR showed up within 10 minutes to explain that our dog was having a fairly serious allergic reaction and they gave him a few shots to counteract the swelling, hives, and vomiting. Within 20 minutes of arriving or dog was looking better and ready to head home.nnSynopsis: Knowles was a stark difference from the cold uncaring attitude we received at the first “emergency” vet’s office. The first office seemed to care more about previously set appointments and less about the pet that was visibly in an emergency situation. The vets at Knowles reacted quickly and helped ease the symptoms of this allergic reaction and had our dog back to normal in record time. His symptoms were in line with a serious allergic reaction. Luckily it did not progress far enough to be a life of death situation but Knowles still treated the situation promptly and prevented any further complications. Both of these clinics are rated the same and there are similar stories of excessive waiting on each side so I guess my suggestion is, if your wait is too long at one check availability at other nearby clinics.
