Animal Clinic of Miami Dade

I wish I could give no stars. My cat went into heat and I called around to local vets inquiring their pricing to get a cat spayed. When I called to set up the appointment here I said this is for a spay, her name is ___. They advised me to come Thursday. When I was called yesterday the person on the phone said neuter, I corrected and said spay. When I arrived today they were shocked to learn that she was a girl despite me stating so MANY times. They then told me it would be $101 opposed to the $55 they advised me of. They would not even own up to an error THEY made. I now have to have my cat go through the agony of heat again to get her an appointment elsewhere. This receptionist staff DOES NOT LISTEN, they push you off the phone so quickly how could they possibly hear anything properly. DO NOT GO HERE THEY ARE INCOMPETENT!!!!

Wonderful and knowledgeable veterinary practice! Love how they care for my fur babies and don't try to upsell unnecessary things that seems to be the norm at other practices.

The reason why I took my puppy here was because at the pet store they told us that the first three visits were free and since they had already seen my puppy before I thought it would be better to keep his records with them from the beginning BUT WHAT A MISTAKE!nnYes, the first visit we did not have to pay for anything but god did they make a lot of money out of us.nnAt first they all seems very caring and wanting the best for your dog but once things get complicated they become very unreliable, beside the few that actually care, the service is terrible.nnMy puppy got sick after visiting the vet from the same virus as a puppy that was there on his first visit, meaning that they did not take the necessary precautions or what a huge coincidence.....nnMy dog had to stay since he was very sick, the next morning I called to see how he was doing since him being so little and getting so sick had me extremely concern and they asked me to call later, after 2 hours I tried calling again and they still had no answer on how he was doing, an hour later I called to ask again if he was ok that I needed to know something about him and NOTHING. This is just unacceptable.nnThey never called back to update me on his status or to just tell me anything, I had to continuously keep calling to get an answer.nnLuckily I was able to take him home earlier that predicted since he got better. They prescribed my dog an antibiotic that made him extremely sick.nnAnd after I asked to be refunded for the extra nights charged they decided that it was better to leave it as a credit for my next visit, which I wouldn't had minded if I had been consulted before they decide what to do with my money or the terrible service.nnI WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO TAKE THEIR DOG HERE.

Went here for the first time for a second opinion on my dog’s limp and a cyst on his shoulder. I feel they were honest and didn’t try to do any unnecessary treatments. I left with a hip supplement for his limp (instead of pushing xrays she suggested trying this first) and said the cyst seems harmless but gave me a quote if I would like it tested and removed in the future. Will go back.
