Banfield Pet Hospital

Note the filth under the stores product shelving units, this includes large balls of animal hair.nI brought my dog in for a checkup, she was found to be fine. They said they found a flea and wanted to give her an immediate treatment. We are always together she sleeps by me, I would know if her monthly flea treatments were not working. They insisted so I agreed to it. After I found no sign in the car or at home of fleas. So they got their $16 off of me.

I'm waiting here at Banfield for an appointment that was supposed to start at 1pm. I signed in with Josh and he proceeded to take down my pets information. I thought all was going smooth until he took my kitten to the back and said he would come back with a treatment plan. I thought it was weird for him to give us a treatment plan with out actually seeing the vet. I asked if we were still going to see the vet and he said yes. When he came back a few minutes later he showed us a more than $150.00 treatment plan that included fecal test. Mind you we have yet to even talk to or see the vet yet. I told him I would rather talk to the vet first to see what they recommend. And he told me that the fecal test was what the vet recommended. I highly doubt the vet even had time to check on our kitten because he went to the back and came out with a treatment plan within minutes. I told him I'm not paying for anything until I talk to the vet and when can we talk to her? He then said that the vets went to lunch and I asked him what about our 1pm appointment and he said there was an emergency earlier and they have gone over time and we were going to have to wait 1-2 hours!! I couldn't believe it. If they had an emergency, why didnt they call to let us know before we drove here or at least tell us to reschedule. I asked him why we have to wait 2 hours for our appointment and he got flustered and said that there are 6 people behind us that are waiting. Like it was our fault that a line was behind us! It is our appointment time which we arrived early for. I feel like he was totally unprofessional. We are still waiting to see the vet so I have nothing to review about her. So far though, I am not coming back here.

They take such good care of my baby girl. They are taking precaution during this strange time we are experiencing now and i feel confident that they are taking the precautions needed.

The staff is super friendly and they have always been able to get my dog in super quick and late in the afternoon (of course that’s when she always needs something) when our regular vet doesn’t have room. Definitely considering bringing both our dogs here for visits regularly!
