Susan M. Markel Veterinary Hospital at the Richmond SPCA

I do take all my pets here, but I want to specifically address one of my pets that was actually never seen by this clinic. Due to COVID procedures and a typically busy vet schedule, my cat Henry had to be taken to Dogwood vet after we had scheduled an appointment a bit further out with Susan Markel. His previous vet (Mechanicsville) had missed a cancerous tumor during a check up. Unfortunately it was untreatable and Hen had to cross the rainbow bridge, so I alerted Susan Markel that we would not need his appointment any longer. Less than two days later, we had a beautiful signed card from the staff at Susan Markel, despite the fact that they had never seen or met Henry. THAT is exactly the reason why I love this clinic - they have such genuine care and compassion for ALL animals and their owners.nnTHANK YOU for providing us with an amazing experience, time and time again. I hope to be a client for many years.

There are no words to express the loving care my Ms. Chloe has received. Everyone is so caring, GOD bless you all! I see halos around each one of you!

They are amazing. Nurtured my cat AND microchipped him AND gave him all of his shots for only $120!!! Rox and I will definitely be returning when it's time for his check up!
