My experience wasn’t horrible, however I don’t think I’ll be choosing this vet again unless I need to get in ASAP.nI rescued a VERY sick animal who needed to be seen ASAP, but when I brought her in instead of running test on her or trying to figure out what was wrong they decided it would be best to give a sick, dying animal vaccines. You’re never supposed to give a sick animal shots because it makes their immune system stop fighting the infection and start making antibodies for the vaccine instead. This is a tactic used to steal your money. ( This is the second time this has happened to me at this location. ) I was told she needed half the vaccine now, & half in 2 weeks. (I think this was to get me to pay for 2 visits, because my other cat got the exact same vaccines at another location and got them in 1 needle.)nThen, the vet never even came in to see my pet, he video chat with the tech for a total of 2-3 minutes. Asked her a few questions which in my opinion she did not answer correctly. My cat was dying and refusing to eat or drink on her own, I was then told that she “wouldn’t starve herself to death” , which is simply not true. Many cats DO starve themselves to death, and in this case it was happening. I was never toldnHow much to force feed or water, and I had to find a lot out on my own, in efforts to save my pet. I returned 2 weeks later and to my surprise, the vet STILL wasn’t there. Another video chat. I told them the medicine wasn’t working and we decided to run a leukemia and aids test. (Takes a day to come back with the results.) instead of waiting till the next day to see the results, they prescribed a $50 antibiotic. Which would inevitably be useless to me the next day when the results came back. I ended up paying over $600 in medical bills. In the end, I had to euthanize my pet because she was getting worse and worse. She was getting a little bit better, but I left her there over night, when I picked her up the entire side of her left upper body was swollen & filled with liquid it felt like. I fed her and gave her water and went to sleep, the next morning she was so lethargic she wouldn’t even stand up and her head was shaking all over the place. I think that they did not force feed her or give her any fluids while she was there. I gave her pedialite & water, but when I went to euthanize her that same day, she was so dehydrated that they couldn’t even get a vein and they had to give her a shot in the heart which I couldn’t be present for.nBut I ultimately feel like this place is money hungry. Yes they were kind and treated my pet but also I was charged for so many unnecessary things, maybe if they hadn’t given my pet vaccines, or at least given her an IV, or food and water, she would still be alive.

Dr. Cloward and his staff have gone above and beyond in their care of our recently diagnosed diabetic dog. They have been very knowledgeable, caring and patient with me as I have learned the ins and outs of blood sugar testing, insulin injections and tracking all of it. I have been in constant contact with Dr. Cloward the past few weeks as we work to find the correct insulin dosage. The girls in the office have been very kind and helpful every time we have been in the office. Very much appreciated. Thank you!!!

I found the Doctor to be very passionate and informative about the health and well-being of what can only be described as a member of our family. I will not hesitate to return and would recommend this hospital to anyone seeking medical treatment of their four legged family member.
