Please please look at other options for emergency vet care. I took my 11 week old puppy in for surgery, we already knew what his diagnosis was but from the minute they got him into the clinic they started racking up the charges to “diagnose him”. We agreed to a $2600 CT scan to ensure there were no other issues for a successful surgery. I was told it was such a good idea we did this because it better helped her prepare for a successful surgery. I was given a couple risks but once the surgery was complete Dr. Meyer said everything went perfect and she was very happy with the outcome. ($7,000 as they charged $1,000 (for 12pm to 7am) the CT scan onlynProvided care until midnight so 12-7 before surgery would be an additional $1000) They have a great way to put in “might needs” so they can charge you whatever they want and take advantage of you in a critically emotional time with your beloved pet. 10 Days later my puppy started having issues I rushed him in and they said he was In Heart failure (never once discussed this as being a risk of surgery) and there was nothing they could do. $1,000 more and they put my puppy to sleep. I have NEVER received one call from the vet to discuss what happened, no we are sorry about your loss nothing. They care about one thing period and that is to bill you as much as they can if your pet dies it dies. Please look at all options I will forever regret going to VCA.

Our elderly dog was diagnosed with cancer about a month ago. This weekend she took a turn for the worse and our normal vet is not open on weekends. The staff here was wonderful. We made the hard decision to put her down as her breathing had become difficult and painful. They treated her with the utmost respect and care. They had a special room out of the way where we were given all the time we wanted with her before the procedure. When it happened we got to hold her and then stay with her body for as long as we needed. They gave us space and made it easier for us to greave and come to terms with our loss. When handling her body they treated her like she was their own. While it was not the ideal situation, and not at all like we planned, it was a peaceful and loving death for our baby girl. Thank you so much and keep doing what you do!

It's with a heavy heart I write this review. My best friend Rudy was suddenly stricken with a mysterious ailment. In the early hours of 8/31 my daughter and I rushed him to the clinic. The service was fast and professional. Long story short, Rudy is no longer with us. Through this traumatic experience the professionals at VCA shared detailed information about their findings and options on how we could proceed. I've read some negative reviews and it seems that many ppl want inexpensive treatments and guarantees that everything will be ok. It costs a lot of money to run an operation such as this. Acknowledging that, what I was charged was very fair. I'm not upset that they couldn't magically save Rudy. I'm grateful that they gave me the opportunity to be with him when he passed. VCA gave me a final memory of my friend that I'll carry with me forever.

We took our dog here for the first time last Wednesday 11/25/20. We definitely do not recommend as we ended up leaving after an hour. I’ve work in medical for 20 years (10 years in urgent care) and so I understand how these places work. Ex: a more emergent case comes in & you get bumped. With that said, we were told we kept getting bumped due to “other animals being more emergent.” I am confused as to how this was determined as we sat in our car for an hour, no one even came out to triage our dog that had literally been yelping in pain the entire time. We called after 30 minutes and I voiced this concern, begging for someone to just come and triage, and still no luck. So after another 30 minutes we ended up going to another facility who got her in immediately. We will not be back. I will say the lady who phone checked us in was extremely pleasant, that’s the only positive thing I have to say. Just overall you can’t assess who is more critical when you don’t even have a valid triage system set up.

We had to take my little Maltese to this hospital on a Saturday evening and they were professional and took very good care of her. The hospital was clear about what they were doing and why, and also what the costs would be before doing it. They got my okay before proceeding with my dog’s treatment. I feel the cost of treatment was reasonable and I amnso grateful that my little pup received compassionate treatment in a timely manner and is feeling better.
