Nick was so wonderful to work with. He went above and beyond, did not pressure or try to up sale us on anything, and kept in contact for over a month while waiting for the doctor to sign the death certificate. I would definitely recommend this funeral home!

We used Good Shepherd after my 18-month-old grandson passed away. We worked with Nick. They made a horrible experience a little bit easier. We were very pleased with everything, especially how good my grandson looked. We will absolutely use them again if the situation arises.

My mother passed away mid- June 2013. I lived in the twin cities at the time. Due to the heat, she died before her time. The police officer who showed up at my mother's apartment comforted her remains until everything taken care of.nnThe officer recommended Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Within 48 hours, I visited with kind hearted man, funeral director. I'd been up front about not having much money as I would be paying for the expenses.nnHe worked with me and offered to give use of chapel between two visitations due to 2 fatal deaths in south Omaha area. I declined as I needed to take care of business and clean out her apartment as soon as possible.nnI ended up making a second visit back to Omaha and pick up my mothers remains six weeks later. I can't remember the funeral director's name but he was a compassionate and loving soul who understand the sorrow of death and its loved ones left behind. I'll never forget the kindness you shown me.nnPeace and love!

Heroic is how I would describe Funeral Director, Mike Hoy. Seriously. We felt lost as to how to navigate this process, especially considering there was no life insurance. Because my Dad was a Veteran, Mike knew exactly how to connect us with the right people to ensure that our Family could use the resources available to us to help accomplish a respectable burial.nMike was swift, incredibly communicative, supportive, and overall absolutely fantastic under the circumstances. We are very grateful for Good Shepherd's work!
