I emailed The Plant House about a certain type of rare plant, amorphophallus, or voodoo lily. I got a response the next business day explaining why they don't carry that particular genus of plant, but offered me a comparable plant they can special order for me. Very thorough, responsive, and processional. Planning on going in soon to make a purchase and patronize this wonderful, local business!
Is this still open? I drove by because I had heard about their orchids but it looked like the place was empty and had been for a while. I haven’t found anything on the website about closing the place or relocating.
6/5/19 1:25 PM. Stopped to check this place out and it was closed. No hours posted that I could see and when I called them got an answering machine. There was a tiny sign that said to call for hours and appointment.nSaturday 6/8/19 11:00 AM. Still not open, still not answering phone and hasn't returned my call from Wednesday. Didn't leave message this time because it seems kind of pointless.
It's a small place, but definitely has an excellent variety. The person running the place is also very knowledgeable and willing to speak with you about the different plants and needs of each one. I would definitely recommend someone going to this place to check it out!!!
I have never seen a business go so above and beyond for a customer. Beautiful orchids and beautiful people. I can't thank them enough. WOW!! WOW!! WOW!!
