The best emergency vet. They have an online portal where you can see your approximate wait time in line (obviously if emergency’s come in it differs, but still helpful to see where you stand)! The vet there last night was the kindest, most compassionate vet I think I’ve ever come in contact with. Actually all the staff we interacted with were amazing & very helpful. I am so thankful for the care they gave my fur baby & I feel so confident in their medical opinion.
If you need emergency help don’t bring your animal here...waited for over 2 hours with my dog who was bleeding from his butt for the entire time I waited. I called 3x looking for an update and was told each time a more sever case had come in...while I can sympathize that another animal is sick how dare you dismiss my pet that you haven’t even looked at to determine what his issue is. Thank god I got him into another vet who was able to assess the situation within minutes and saved my dogs life. If you love your pets you wouldn’t think twice about bringing them here
Beyond nice, I would recommend to anyone. They communicated the whole time my dog was in and I’ve gone to them in the past for other pets. Great veterinary care and amazing staff. Buddy and I cannot thank Animal Emergency Center enough
They saved our dog Tycho. They were constantly in communication with us regarding what step of the process they were on, their findings, and what they had to do next. Staff was very friendly and transparent on costs. And this was in the middle of the night, so kudos to them.nnI don't really understand the complaints about communication, as it seems they were over-communicating to us the whole time. Also don't really understand the complaints about cost. Vets go through the same amount of school at the same major costs as human doctors. A lot of the practices, procedures, and equipment used to perform them are the same as you would see in a hospital. If it costs X to perform a procedure on a human, you can probably bet it's going to cost X to perform on an animal. If you can't stomach to costs of keeping and protecting a member of your family, maybe a pet isn't for you.nnThank you for all you did for us. Hopefully we'll never have to come back, but if we do, I know our dog will be in good hands.
I had to bring in my rabbit early in the morning as an emergency and all the ladies I got to talk to on the phone were very nice and specific on what I needed to do. It seems like, due to being curbside, sometimes the wait might be a little longer depending on the time and condition of your pet but I really had a wonderful experience and I will definitely come back for any other personal animal emergency needs.
