HVC has always taken great care of our pets. Even when we recently had one pass away they reached out to us and helped us through a tough time.
You guys take excellent care of animals, I’ll give you that - no issues there! You make sure they get the BEST care possible. BUT when it comes to HR and the hiring process you have absolutely no idea what you are doing. I followed up with this practice about employment over 7 times in the past year for 2 different positions. No in person interview the first attempt after 4 follow ups. No response to follow-ups via phone and email. Snap judgements made based upon a PHONE INTERVIEW by the manager. No call back to say whether or not I got the job (which is what I was told would happen). You call the office twice in one day asking for the hiring manager and the front desk lady lies and says she isn’t in or must have left - LOL come on. There is no excuse for that. Hey Hometown Vet, realize that not giving someone a chance who has no experience is the ONLY way they will GAIN experience in their field of interest. Good job at making it impossible for those passionate about animals a chance to prove themselves without even seeing their work ethic and true passion in action. ud83dude02ud83dudc4dud83cudffc I will never apply here again and will take my efforts to veterinary practices that actually value my worth and aren’t so damn cliquey.
This is one of the best veterinary medical teams in the Waterville/Fairfield area. They take extra special care to give the best customer service while providing incredible medical care. They are also one of the few practices with a large animal specialty!
