Really nice little seasonal family flower farm that specializes in dahlia's and bulbs.
I purchased some Jowey Winnie and Sylvia this spring and I was so happy when the blooms came in. The Sylvia had dozens of blooms with variations of orange sherbet growing as tall as me. Super prolific with tall single stems, perfect for vases. The Jowey Winnies were my favorite grown this year. The blooms were purple to pink to yellow from the edge of the petal to the center. These produced blooms that changed color shades as the season changed. Pastels in early summer to candy colors through October. The amount of tubers I got from these will let me plant a full perimeter of dahlias next year. I can’t wait. Thanks Bonnie Blooms and thanks to Greg (the guy I talked to, I think).
This is a family owned organic farm specializing in designer flowers that will blow your mind. It is run by a husband and wife team who love what they do and their work reflects their love of their art. We had them design flower arrangements for two of our children's weddings that were simply off the hook. Jana, the lead designer is graduate of the Glasgow University and with an advanced design degree from Edinburgh College of Art, (ECA). ECA is an art, design, creative and performing arts school in Edinburgh, the oldest and largest in Scotland and one of the world's premier design schools. Our advise id to book them early because their designer flowers are highly coveted and spoken for quickly. Craig tends to the farm with loving care for the environment and the flowers they grow.
