Sylvia's - Amling's Flowers

On Valentine’s Day, my daughter and I received the most breathtaking arrangements. It definitely made our day!! However after 2 days, the flowers were dying. I assume it was due to the cold weather while out for delivery. I called and spoke with Kristina Lang, about what happened. She was super friendly, and had amazing customer service and said she would send a replacement. I received the replacement today, and once again I was blown away with how beautiful it looked. Thank you, Kristina Lang for listening to my concerns and replacing my order. I will definitely spread the word and will order again soon. It’s nice to know, you guys truly value your customers and go above and beyond to make us smile with beautiful arrangements.

It was such a pleasure working with Betty W. I ordered flowers over the phone (from LA) and also had my Mom (from FL) on the other line. Betty was extremely professional and patient with working with us. There were several details regarding our order especially with the SCRIPT and how we exactly wanted it displayed with the flower arrangements that we ordered. She was very accommodating and was patient in taking down all of the information that needed to go on the script and note card. We were ordering flowers for my aunt and my dad's sister who just passed away in Chicago. During this difficult time, it's nice to have someone who is genuinely a good person to work with, since we just lost a loved one and it can be a stressful time for the bereaved family. Thank you again Betty for helping us out and being so kind to us. We will definitely recommend you and Sylvia's-Amling's Flower Shop to our family and friends in the future. Take care always! Update: Shortly after I wrote my original review, I received a phone call from the company addressing my concerns and apologizing for delivering the arrangement early and also that the bouquet itself was not up to standard. They asked how they could make it right and offered to deliver another arrangement. I told them they didn't have to, as it was getting close to the end of the day, but they insisted. No more than an hour later, I received an email confirming that the new arrangement had been delivered with a picture of the arrangement attached. They even included an apology card with the delivery, which was above and beyond in my opinion. Thank you for taking the time to address my concerns. The new arrangement is exactly how I pictured it to look and I'm more than thrilled for the recipient to receive these flowers!nnI decided to go with this florist because they had good reviews, however I'm really disappointed. I had requested that the flowers be delivered after a specific time, due to the recipient not being present before that time, but they delivered them early. I would have excused the early delivery, however the flowers themselves looked nothing like the photo.... I know that sometimes there are variations based on the season, however the arrangement that was pictured was much fuller, with more vibrant flowers/colors and several RED roses. This arrangement was delivered with *one* PINK rose. If you know anything about roses, then you know that the color of the rose matters!! Needless to say, I was very embarrassed and disappointed when the flowers were delivered and will not be ordering from this florist again.

I have purchased flowers here many times recently and I can’t tell how the beautiful arrangements I get and price is very reasonable. It is the best florist around and flowers last. They just recently helped with a last minute flowers for Easter! I won’t go anywhere else!

This place is great! I ordered flowers for my grandmother to be delivered to her rehab center while she was recovering from surgery. When she suddenly had to be transferred back to the hospital and the flower shop had already sent her flowers out for delivery, they were able to stop the delivery and reroute them to the hospital. Very nice people!
