It's Labor Day weekend and we had to find an open vet ASAP. Our pup ate a fish hook full of salmon eggs. We cut the line, scooped him up and off we went. We were an hour away.... longest drive ever. When we arrived it was clear, we were at the right place. We parked in our numbered spot, called to check in, they gave us instructions and they were out shortly to take our pup in. They came out and called a number of times with updates and we were well informed. It took about 2 hours to get to the final diagnosis and treatment, which is way less time than I expected. We ended up leaving him overnight for the procedure which it sounds like the team required to do the procedure stayed late to complete, which we REALLY appreciate. An hour drive back to camp and within an hour or so of being back they called to update again. All done and all good. Monitoring and staff cuddles the rest of the night. We were able to sleep easy knowing Leo was in the best possible care. We were told to check in anytime overnight, but I was confident in letting them do their job and knowing they would notify me if needed. Fast forward to today and it's 12:30 and we have our precious pup back in our arms. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the teams and staff that cared for Leo. It's been a expensive weekend, but our furry friend has no price.

My wife and I were recently visiting in HR in August. Our geriatric Boston Terrier Molly had found a rib bone outside earlier in the day and had it stuck halfway. Thinking that she would eventually work thru it we went to bed. At 2 am my wife woke in a panic that she was not breathing, when I woke and got to her I realized that she was not breathing and here tonge was dark blue black from suffocation. I proceeded with CPR and tried swinging her like you would a chocking baby. It seemed like forever she had no air ( I was sure she was gone) but finally coughed and came around. My wife in a panic was calling all HR vets to no avail. We did receive a message on one vet office to call CRVS in emergency ( which we were in) The staff at CRVS was quick to calm my wife and give us directions to the location in Vancouver where we drove the 65 miles and were met in the parking lot to assess our little Molly. We were assured she was in oxygen and was resting and a DR. would assess here ASAP . By 6 am we had a call and were again informed she was Ok! X-rays were suggested to make sure the obstruction was clear, we agreed, and an hour later we had a call that the bone and fragments were now in her stomach and no other obstructions were present. I thanked the DR and asked for her card so I could commend here and the staff at CRVS for there professional service and compassion for both our Molly and us as a client. ( I am currently at work and unfortunately do not have her card. Could the person reviewing this please get her name on this review please)

For speciality pet care, CRVS is the go to in our community. The expert knowledge and care that CRVS provides to both animals and their caregivers is exceptional. Dr. Ally Darrow has been the veterinarian we have worked with for ophthalmologic care and there isn't a score high enough to give her. Dr. Darrow treated our pug as she would her own. She provided animal centered care and I truly felt that she was concerned and involved in the treatment of our pet. Our family has found all of the techs, front office staff, and all associated with CRVS to be outstanding. You will not be disappointed with your experience at CRVS. Even during the Covid crisis they have done their very best to be accommodating and supportive.

Wonderful care, it's just really expensive.

My dog needed the opthamology department and our experience has been wonderful so far. Very accommodating and amazing communication. They put your animal/patient first and are very thorough in helping you to understand every process of their expert opinions. Extremely professional, kind, and appropriate.
