Everyone I’ve ever dealt with at Avalon has always been nice and kind. I’ve had 2 of my dogs there. One of them had to have surgery twice and they did a excellent job. Everyone has always treated us with kindness. Doctor Smith, is amazing! He talked with me on a personal level and made me feel super comfortable about trusting them with my fur babies. I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else ❤ufe0f
Everyone here is so sweet and kind and especially at a time where you have to let your pet go inside without you it's nice to know that you don't have to worry about them being good to her
I called on three occasions to call and make an appointment for my animal. The woman answering the phones was rude and wouldn’t not stop cutting me off. Don’t waste your time.
i’ve went here for about 3 years off and on, when scheduling my last appointment i specifically asked if they’d accept a check. i was told they WOULD be able to take it bc it wasn’t my first time being there. fast forward to the appointment, i was asked the same questions by three different people. when the “ doctor “ called me he kept referring to my male cat as a female. toldnme he would be giving me something to collect a fecal sample from my cats litter. when i got my cat back & his medicine i wasn’t given anything else. now for payment! they call & ask how i’m paying, i say check. the lady tells me they can’t accept a check from me bc i haven’t been there enough! i explain when i made the appointment i asked if i could pay that way, if i wouldn’t have been able to i would’ve went somewhere else. i tell her i don’t have any cash on me at all. she tells me to go to an atm!!!! incredibly unprofessional business! very rude customer service and the doctor didn’t do his job whatsoever. i recommend going ANYWHERE else! • edit • i paid for a previous appointment with a check!
I would not even give this place 1 star but I have too in order to write my review. I’ve lived near Avalon since 2011 and try not to use them due to the high prices and poor quality of service I’ve received over the years. Ive only used them over the past couple of years to buy flea meds in a pinch. I JUST CALLED to set an appointment to buy Some Advantage. The rudest most unfriendly woman said they have to see my cat Loki... I said yes, I know y’all have to weigh him. She then, again rudely screams “NO! We have EXAMINE him!” WTH?? Since WHEN??? So now they are trying to charge people an OFFICE visit and examination FEES... to buy NON-Rx flea meds?? This place is total GARBAGE. STEER CLEAR and don’t give them your hard earned money they are crooks!!!
