My father in law recently passed away. He is a Vietnam veteran, and covered by the VA. My wife drove out there to take care of his services, and Mr Schilling has been nothing but rude and condescending to the entire family. He kicked my wife's cousin out when she brought in paperwork from the VA, and said he is not going to do anything with his remains. We are currently looking for a mortuary that will take care of his remains honorably. This is not the way a veteran should be treated.nnEdit: I just found out he moved the body to Oklahoma City without consent and is charging us for the transfer. This is not just disrespectful, but it's just plain bad business.nSo now if we find a mortuary that will fix this, we will have to pay again just for the transfer. This is ludicrous.
We will always appreciate the professionalism, empathy and care that our loved one received from Scotty Schilling and his staff.
