Banfield Pet Hospital

Banfield was a surprise hidden gem for us. We were looking for something good but cost effective for our two boys and came across Banfield. The ladies at the James Island location are all awesome, extremely sweet, helpful and knowledgeable. The best part for us is the monthly plan options. They are extremely reasonable for the services they provide, and the tiered options allow you to choose the price that's right for you. We won't be going anywhere else for our pet's needs, that's for sure!

We went to Banfield Pet Hospital for the worst of reasons, we had to euthanize our sweet 11 year old dog. They showed nothing but empathy to our situation and never made us feel rushed throughout the process. The entire procedure was explained to us before hand and they made all of us as comfortable as we could be. Though I hope to never have to use them again, I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

Great place to take your pet! Very caring staff

I have been a loyal Banfield wellness member for years, for multiple pets. Banfield does great job at preventative care, however, Banfield's structure cannot handle sick pets. My primary Banfield vet (she has been wonderful) and I have been managing my cat's chronic condition. She had a seemingly good recheck appointment as a drop-off due to COVID, but came home vomiting bile all night into the morning. When I called the next day, FOUR Banfield locations could not see her. As my pets age, I know that Banfield will not be able to handle their conditions. Be careful when choosing Banfield, and make sure your pets do not get sick if you do choose Banfield for your fur babies.

I've paid my bill on time every month, never once been late. I was scheduled to drop my dog Snook off this morning and they couldn't find my appointment. I don't have a problem with that, it can be corrected. I have a problem with not correcting it and letting people in ahead of me, making me wait. I didn't have time to wait. They should've fixed the misunderstanding immediately. What exactly have I been paying for? Bad service?nnI posted this over six months ago. Guess what, I asked them to to cancel my plan and I found a different and more professional veterinarian for my dog. Banfield is still charging me for their monthly plan. You owe me over $300 now. Please stop stealing money out of my bank account!
