I love Piedmont Animal Hospital! I highly recommend this place. The vet saw my dog when no other vet in Macon would see her during an emergency situation because we were considered “new patients”. He worked her in to his already busy schedule.The staff was also very professional and friendly! I can’t thank them enough!

I spent $208 for checkups in order to get prescriptions for my 2 dogs flea and tick medicine. I ordered the prescription and Chewys called to verify it was ok for my dogs to have the prescription. I received a call from the office informing me there would be a fee to pull the chart and give authorization for the prescription to be filled. A week later I received another call and was informed they called to verify again that it was ok to fill it and that there would be another charge. Not that the charge is alot, only $2.25 per file they had to pull, but I believe after paying $208 the least they could do is pull a file and give authorization without charging a fee. I will be going back to Dr. Dennard and deal with a wait.
