The receptionist caused us to change vets and we’ve been taking both of our dogs here for 4 years in March. I’m an Operations Manager for a medical office and I would reprimand my staff if they ever treated one of our patients the way I was treated by their receptionist.nIt’s a real shame because everyone else in the office, including the vet, is extremely nice, professional, and respectful. I remind my front office frequently to always be kind, find a way to “yes” and that they never know what the patient is going through. My experience with the receptionist is a prime example of this — I had just returned from my brothers funeral to find my 15 y/o Pomeranian in breathing distress and possibly near the end. I simply asked the receptionist to look up our Care Credit number and she refused. I left the office with my last impression being they only wanted my $350 for the office visit and labs. Again, everyone except the receptionist was great!
