We love Dr. McCormick and her staff. Their attention to detail and their sincere care and concern are what keeps us coming back. They are always available within a reasonable amount of time and they always call when it's time for booster shots, etc. Our dog and cats receive excellent care at CAH.

My experience with clear lake animal hospital has been awesome from the very first visit. They helped me with my first dog who passed away and now we're on my second Chihuahua and they are showing the exact same compassion. I highly recommend this facility.

I can’t say enough about DV McCormick she has been taking care of my fur children for over a year now. I use to go to the SPCA and honestly I would rather go here. She is honest about everything and goes over everything with you. Her candor is something I value even when it’s about the quality of life with your animal. She is compassionate and cares about her patients and family. Her staff goes above and beyond and is always so professional and caring as well. Thank you guys from the bottom of our hearts.

This place is not “for the animals” they left the impression they are “ALL FOR PROFIT”. I called hoping to get a nail trim for my Chihuahua. This should take all of 10 minutes for a tech to do. We have a job that has us on the road 3 months at a time and access to our vet is not possible. We are only in places for a few hours at a time and don’t have advance warning on what day or time we will be in a particular area. Our dog has all of his shots and I bathe him once a week so he is extremely loved and well cared for. Cutting his nails myself makes me nervous and I’ll pay whatever it takes for him to have what he needs. I explained the situation to this vet office and was told they would not do it because he is not a patient. WHAT ABOUT WE TRAVEL FOR WORK IS NOT UNDERSTANDABLE? I am an animalitarian so I will NEVER understand this mentality. If you care about animals and their well being there is zero reason to turn away a pup that needs your help. So 10 minutes for a dog in need to avoid possible injury or broken nail to suffer from isn’t a massive request. I hope people that see this can see your true colors before they share any of their hard earned money with you. I can honestly say I am disappointed that the animals don’t come first at this place. Just sad.
