Mountain View Funeral Home

Mountain View Funeral home staff were so kind, patient, and caring. They did not try to upsell us on anything. They offered us much peace and support during the passing of my Mother. The service they performed was outstanding. Every person on their staff was A plus. I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to take care of their loved one after they pass. Outstanding!

Yes I have to agree,, They were not much help. I did feel they would have held my Beloved Husbands body hostage! My Husbands passing was unexpected, just 10 days following a diagnosis of brain cancer. I felt helpless. I didn’t have the $ , our only income was Social Security. I was told, my husband’s body could NOT be cremated until everything was paid for. $3,200.00 He said, “nAnd just to let me know, after 3 days the storage would cost me an additional $30.00 per day for storage of the body Until paid!… my heart sank, no other solutions offered. Kind , Understanding People? NOnOne of my Husbands Daughter & Son~in~law & my Daughter & Son~in-law paid the ransom not that they could afford it either. God Bless Them!

Helpful place. They help themselves to your money. Caring place, they hold your loved ones for Ransome. Claim to be the cheapest in town... Laughable...

These are not good times for families that feuding. Raw emotions are up front. People are not thinking. Staff helped bring understanding to all parties. We all have gotten closer since the funeral. My thanks to them for helping us through.
