I drove up from Texas to be with my mother after my father passed away. At the request of my father, he was cremated. The day that we came to Meyer Brothers to pick up his remains, we were sat down on the couch in the lobby inside the main door. There were people walking around, laughing, and talking around us as my mother was handed my father’s remains. I was appalled by the unprofessional attitude and disrespect my mother was shown in her time of need. I lived in Sioux City most of my life and had attended many funerals at Meyer Brothers, this personal experience was appalling to say the least. I was sad for my mother, this is not what I expected in the worst time of her life. Amy Tott
