My Mom took our family dog here during her last day & they were so kind and compassionate!! They even made her a nice clay paw print and sent a beautiful sympathy card with embedded wild flowers! The aftercare cremation company they used from Detroit was also so kind! They promptly delivered the remains to her house and even sent a sympathy letter! It made the whole process easier. Thank you!
My little Basset was recently diagnosed with epilepsy. Over the weekend, when our vet was closed, our little guy went into relentless seizures. It was horrible. We took him in the wee hours of the morning to the Animal Emergency Hospital where he was met with the utmost kindness. The doctor and the aide made him comfortable and then helped him gently cross over. Our hearts are broken, but the staff did all they could to help him and even extended their kindness to us.
Do not bring your animals here. Really wish I had talked with everyone at work before making the mistake myself. Over $400 just to get an x-ray and pretty much be told maybe my dog will need surgery maybe not. But they would definitely recommend me a check somewhere else because most places are a lot cheaper than them. Would have been great to know that before the over $400. So the next day I go to another vet and get another x-ray find out surgery should definitely happen and. The x-ray only cost me $85. Also one of the reasons the first x-ray cost me over $400 was because they claimed my dog was not cooperating at all and needed a sedative. And one would not be enough. My dog weighs 33 pounds she’s a two-year-old lab sweet as can be she doesn’t stop my kitten from eating her food. The second clinic had the x-ray done very quickly and without any issue at all.
My cat suffered from a urinary blockage on new years eve around midnight a few years ago and this was the only place open. They saved my cats life and they also answered all my questions via phone in the days following. Yes, they charge more than a typical vet because it is an emergency service and they are very upfront about that. My sweet boy wouldn't be here without their kind, compassionate service and I'm very thankful for that.
With a heavy heart we had to have our 16 year old dog euthanized today. The staff was amazing. The Dr was super nice and caring. They gave us as much time as we needed. They made a very difficult time a little easier.
