*FAST AVAILABILITY * CARING STAFF * FLEXIBILITY for worried pawrentsnI just got home from Prickly Pear Pet Vaccines and it was totally worth the 25 min ride there and back. I called them today morning for availability and there were ready to meet us. They're a new clinic and getting a fast appointment comes super handy for us pet pawrents in these strange COVID times when all vet clinics and mobile vets are packed. Super kind and caring staff and doctor! I am a very anxious pawrent and they were very flexible and accommodating to my requests. They handled my 100lb dog and 5 lb kitty cat very gently, took the time to get them comfy before the exam, and both got the chance to have a treat before the Rabies shot. They kindly asked me before offering the treats, to avoid tummy upset in case one of them had a sensitive stomach. I am incredibly happy, they totally made my day. So much so that I kind of wish my other cats' Rabies would be due sooner, so I could meet them again. Haha Great experience, highly recommend this place.

Dr. Hilla is the best vet ever! She is so patient, gentle, and kind with my very nervous dog. Not only is she amazing with animals, but she will also make you feel right at home and comfortable. We were lucky enough to be helped by not only Dr. Hilla, but also the very sweet and wonderful vet tech Pauline as well. Thank you Prickly Pear Pet Vaccines for the love and care you give the animals of our community!

What a great little vet clinic for wellness checks and vaccinations! We love our regular vet, but who wants to pay almost $100 (if not more) every 4 weeks for puppy shots and wellness meds!? This sure beats waiting in long lines in an HEB parking lot, too! I walked in today (Saturday) and was out in less than 20 minutes. Our puppy got a check by Dr. Hilla, first vaccine, two rounds of deworming (one they give for you to give 2 weeks later), and started on heartworm prevention all for $40! That's unbelievably awesome. I highly recommend you go here for simple vaccination and wellness prevention needs!
