I am from out of town and had to order flowers for my mother’s memorial service over the phone. Blooms by Claybar did an excellent job with the flowers chosen and how the flowers were arranged. The overall look was very beautiful. I am very impressed and would recommend this flower shop to anyone.

If I could give this shop a zero, I would. I ordered flowers for a memorial service on 5/8 for a 5/18 memorial service. I don't live in the area so I ordered through FTD since I don't know any flower shops down there. I have ordered through FTD for funerals in the past and NEVER had this problem before. I get a call on 5/15 telling me that they can't gaurantee delivery for a 1 pm memorial service and they want to drop the flowers off somewhere on Friday night. So, now I have to contact the family who's mourning and try ro figure out who they can deliver these funeral flowers to on Friday nighr. I'm sorry, this is not the family's responsibility. The family gets back to me the next day to tell me what to do. I called Blooms by Claybar and Brenda told me that they had canceled my order because they hadn't heard from anyone yet. Are you kidding me? I asked her this! I've NEVER had a florist, whether I ordered through FTD or not, call me 3 days before a funeral and ask me to make arrangements to drop the flowers off the night before because they can't gaurantee that the flowers will be delivered to the funeral on time. I told her this too! And now the family is not getting the beautiful sympathy arrangement I wanted them to have. The flowers a family member knew I was sending for them. The florist told me that they are 35 minutes from this church and they only had 3 people (I think she said) working at the shop, yadda yadda yadda. Well, then don't accept the job for this arrangement and delivery if you can't get it to the service on time. Common sense! Don't take a job you can't do. This job should have gone to a flower shop that could actually handle this delivery. Completely unacceptable. Do NOT order from them if you have a delivery that needs to be on time for something important like a funeral or wedding. Absolutely NOT reliable! I didn't even get an offer to make this situation right! I I just got excuses! She didn't even offer me money off the arrangement I had ordered for the inconveniencing this family or trying to make a Friday night delivery possible. I didn't even get an apology. Unacceptable!!
