Country Brook Animal Hospital

I've been a loyal client to Country Brook since I moved out here in 2008. This being prior to the recent expansion and remodel of the office, you used to have to wait HOURS before getting in one of the rooms to be seen. Expect to take all day off from work just to wait in line. But it was expected, since it was on a first come, first serve basis, and they are ALWAYS busy. Not only are the prices of medication, vaccinations, etc. are very fair priced, Dr Pipes is amazing, kind, patient, and efficient at what he does! So being a repeat client for the past 10+ years was a no-brainer.nnSo why am I giving it 3 stars?nnI just finished my visit for two of my pups to update their shots. The remodel is beautiful, clean, and it looks like they hired more help. The hospital also has a website now where you can put in your name on a wait-list and they'll text you when you're close to being brought in depending on how far you have to travel to get to the hospital. Should make for a faster, more efficient process, right? I understand that depending on who's before you and perhaps some emergency appointments, the wait time could vary. It took another hour for me to get in one of the rooms. So is it faster than that 3-5 hour wait time than before? Sure. But was it that much more efficient? Not really from what I was expecting. So do expect to still wait a while longer than you think.nnThe nurses were friendly, but the efficiency and communication seem to be lacking.There are clear signs at the front for check in and check out (which the old office didn't have). So as I was leaving, I naturally went to the check out part of the front desk. The lady was on the phone advising another patient. No problem, I can wait. She not once signaled me that she saw me, or gave me any eye contact to acknowledge that I was there. She spent a few minutes on the phone talking to this client, and other nurses/receptionists saw me but no direction. Finally the check out lady put the client on the phone on hold only to tell me to check out at the check in. Why didn't you just wave me over there or someone else could direct me? It annoyed me that no one bothered to communicate with me or give me directions on what to do since all I wanted to do was pay and leave.nnOf course I was peeved but does this mean I won't be coming back? No. I think maybe the new office and systems need some getting used to and communication should improve.The prices are still very affordable, and Dr. Pipes is still here, so I will continue to go to this hospital. Just wanted to put in my 2 cents on the matter that if I should expect more efficient, time saving service, this hospital still has some work to do.

Excellent Care , Fast Re resolution to a bladder infection. Dr Pipes and the staff were very understanding and clear on care guidelines. Wait-list was especially helpful and convenient. I won't go anywhere else. Update: Jan 01 2021 - Received a follow-up call from Dr Pipes at 10 AM checking on my cat's health status and confirmed medication was working for him. Unexpected and Exceptional!

The only thing I don’t like is that you must get in line through their website.nAnd you need to be lucky in order to get a place in line.nYou need to get in line within the first 15 minutes of the hour at 600am.nThen it gives you an estimate on how long it will take them before they see you. But it so inaccurate.nI waited all day long when it originally said 4hrs wait.nThe vet didn’t see dog me until 1 or 2 pm.nI arrived when the website said 30 minutes. And I waited over an 1 hr 1/2 (90minutes) at the clinic.nnOverall better than before. When you had to sit there at the clinic the entire day.nnPlace is super nice!

Been going to Dr.Pipes for 12-15 years! He's the only vet I trust! He cares, takes the time to call and tell you the progress of your animal twice a day! Just picked up my sick baby after he got her better!

Dr. Pike was great. Cleaned my dogs inflammation and gave him two shots to calm down the allergies and now he is super energetic again. Quick and cheap. About 100$ cheaper than the other vet I went to.
