Dr. B has been my veterinarian since 2008. I adore him! He is so sweet with cats.nnSeveral years ago, in the middle of the night, one of my cats had a seizure and I panicked. I took her to the emergency veterinarian in Sarasota. They kept her for maybe 8-10 hours and the bill was a little over $3,000.00nnLast week my senior cat got very sick and she had to stay at Dr. Berkowitz clinic for two full days. At my request he ran every blood test known to mankind and took multiple x-rays. Dr. B and the staff took such great care of her and made her better but I almost passed out when I received the bill!! Based on my previous experience I was expecting the bill to be close to $5,000.00 or more.. Dr. Berkowitzs bill was less than $250.00!nnPraise God thank for them! It's such a blessing to know that they will not only love and take good care of your animals, but they won't gouge you.
Dr Berkowitz has always been helpful and right on top of any problem out little chihuahuas have had to face. Best instructions and guidance for care -sensible & knowledgeable. When we once had an emergency, Dr B directed us what to do, where to go quickly and notified the ER staff that we were on the way with the litle 2.6 lbs chihuahua that had become ill after a bite from fire ants ! He was passing out and couldn't walk ! I called Dr Berkowitz and he had Elvis' records faxed to the closest Animal ER to save his life. He acted fast and gave great instructions. We love the staff too.

The absolute BEST VET in SW Florida that has the most AMAZING disposition with the care of each furry family member. Thanks y'all u guys rock!!!!!
Dr. Berkowitz and Dr. Culp are caring and compassionate veterinarians. My dogs and cats have been cared for at Veterinary Associates of Jacaranda for over 15 years.
