Hy-Vee Floral

My sisters and I wanted a nice 3 piece plant arrangement for our sisters funeral. She promised she would put some nice plants and decorate it nicely. We were embarrassed to have our names on the arrangement they sent. Not only was it ugly but the flower leaves were dried out and had an ugly bow on it. Shame on you Hyvee!

I have ordered from this location several times. Generally I have had good service, but not gotten what I thought I was paying for. When I go to the web page for my local Hyvee floral I assume they have the same flower arrangements that they show on their page. Not the case. A majority of the time they end up substituting and the flowers look similar to what I picked out the. Valentines day is here. I called a day in advance and the Hyvee rep suggested the special and I was happy with that. So its Valentines day and you think you would have a lot of stock of the special arrangement. Red roses were in the special but we did not get the red as you can see. The web page does have a disclaimer but they did not contact me about the substitutions. Plus every rose had browning from damaged areas. My delivery was early in the morning so I thought they shouldn't have been beat up to bad from riding around town during all of the deliveries. My wife sent me these pictures of the actual flowers and then called the local store to share her disappointment. If this had been the first time I would have let it go at that. Another time I stopped by the store and picked out an arrangement that they had in their cooler. I said that I wanted that style of arrangement but I wanted a fresh set because they looked like they had already been in the cooler for a few days. I took a picture of them and when my wife received them they were the exact same flowers. They of course apologized and offered credit each time I complained. Not the point. Care about your product and deliver on the promises. NOT A HAPPY VALENTINES DAY. I added the photos but they don't show on the review. They wear peach roses and brown edges on all of the petals.

I called Hy-vee to have some flowers delivered on Wednesday after noticing the same day delivery. After viewing the website and wanting to customize the arrangement. I decided to call and speak with someone over the phone. The customer service was not friendly and incredibly unhelpful. I no longer live in Watertown and wanted to send some flowers to a grieving family member. Apparently this is what $42 will get you from Hy-vee. Just to give you an idea of how ripped off I feel. I can go to Whole Foods where I currently live and purchase 2 dozen roses for that price. Will not be ordering again. So disappointed because I worked here as a kid and my managers would not tolerate the service that was displayed
