Walden Lake Animal Clinic

I went to this vet about 5-7 times in the last month. I will start off by saying I only gave it two stars rather than one because the vet technicians are amazing. They are very sweet, loving and kind to me and my dog. The problem lies with the doctor. This doctor is so extremely money hungry and does not care about providing correct treatment to your pet. He will prescribe insane and unnecessary amounts of medications without even asking you first, will shove his sponsored Hill’s Science food down your throat and will not ask questions to get to the root of the problem. I had to fix a lot of my dog’s problems with my own judgement that turned out to be more appropriate than the vets decisions. This vet has also shamed me for currently being unemployed without knowing my situation and not wanting to pay for the sponsored Hills food brand (which would have caused the same allergic reaction in my dog). He also has tried to blame me for not giving medicine right when my dog had worms despite paying for a worm check AND paying for worm prevention rather than him taking the blame for his oversight. I’ve never wrote a google review in my life, but when you’re scared to take your dog to the vet out of fear of going broke and getting shamed by some nasty old man, you gotta write a review. Also none of his staff wear masks and frequently get very close to you and as someone with a lower immune system, I found it highly unprofessional. I have been to many vet’s for different pets in my life and I’ve never received more horrible service than this place. Literally go anywhere else.

I brought our dog in on an emergency. Our regular vet was not available and I called their office and they were so kind and got him in right away. The staff was very friendly and so loving towards him. Dr. Bailey was very nice and explained everything after a thorough exam. He is what I would describe as a country vet who cares about your animals and didn’t order unnecessary costly test. He treated him with medicine and then saw him the next day to make sure he was getting better. He was great and his staff is top notch! I love the fact if you need him after hours he answers the phone and is available! What vet does that anymore? I would definitely recommend them to anyone who asks! So glad we found them!

The place is cozy, clean and we'll staffed. The staff r friendly and knowledgeable. The place is a little hard to see from the road but once u find the place I'm sure you'll be more than happy with their services. So come on in and give them a try!

I found Walden Lake after being in town for 2 days and needing to seek emergency veterinary treatment. We were contacted back immediately by Dr Bailey despite it being after hours, and seen right away. Dr Bailey was honest, calm, and gave me a clear prognosis and options, which was exactly what I needed. We received multiple updates over the following days, and I am happy to say that my cat is doing wonderfully thanks to the swift action of their team. We registered all our animals with Walden Lake based off this experience, and I trust the team should we need anything at all!

Dr Bailey is very knowledgeable, experienced and professional. He has helped me with my cats for several years, even with emergency same day appointment requests. The office is very nice and clean. (It is set up in a way my animals are never in the reception area with other animals.) I will continue to use Walden Lake Animal Clinic for life. The staff also takes my concerns seriously.
