Reviews
They are always the friendliest. Pixi and Cello love going to see them. If you are in the beaches area and need a very, i highly recommend them!
I am not usually one to write reviews, but the care our pets have received over the past 6 years from Atlantic East Animal Clinic has been so outstanding that I want to share. They have literally saved two of our cats lives at this point. They are gentle and kind and great at what they do. If you need a vet at the beach, these folks are the best.
They’ve taken care of my 2 dogs and 2 cats, excellent service every time & affordable. My pets always leave happy.
This office has been my vet for more than 10 years and I will be switching to a new vet ASAP. They really seem to be losing the attention to detail and customer centric culture that made me feel confident sending my pets there for over 10 years.nnFor one, after reading the previous review regarding lot expiration dates, I realized also have records that clearly state my dog was given an expired rabies vaccination. I won't say I'm totally alarmed and think my dog could get rabies, as I'm sure a vaccine being expired by a couple months still has effectiveness, but I am paying for this service and at the very least would expect to get an in-date vaccine. I will now be going through all of my records from the past 10 years to see if this has been happening all along.nnSecond, they never sent any reminders that my lab & oldest German Shorthaired Pointer were due for their annual visits and vaccines. I have gotten these reminders for 10 years. When I surfaced this miss recently, they said they use an “automated system” and took no responsibility for the fact that I never received any reminders (mail or email). They just used the excuse that it’s a 3rd party service that sends the reminders. To state the obvious, I am not a customer of the 3rd party service, I am a (soon to be past) customer of AEAC, and you should make sure your services are working properly. They also said they think a lot of customers lost track of their pets’ health due to COVID. That is a terrible excuse, not to mention insulting, as I have visited this office for various services several times in the COVID era for all 3 dogs. It has nothing to do with COVID.nnNowadays, I never know which vet my dogs are going to see. It seems to be a revolving door of people helping out/filling in. When I have seen vet taking over for Dr. Green, the bedside manner she displays is awkward and silent to say the least. When they closed the office to humans, it was almost a welcome relief when I could take a break from going into the office and having to deal with seeing her face-to-face.nnWhich brings me to my last point. Despite vaccine rollout and lifted mask mandates, customers are still not allowed into the office. So technically, I have no idea what they are doing with my pets, and given all of the above and what I have read in other reviews & experienced myself, I am switching to a more cohesive, synchronous, in-tact practice.
I am so very pleased that Atlantic East is available and nearby our house. I use to drive my pups to another vet far away because it was where they had gone in the past, but since finding Atlantic East during an emergency, I have switched both pups to them and we have been happy every since. I have also had a few instances where I found other folks animals that needed immediate care and Dr. Green at Atlantic East was able to get them in and treat them so they were not in pain. Both instances resulted in the fur babies being ok and getting reunited with their human parents.
