Lake Area Animal Hospital

The staff went over and above for my little one. The vet was awesome and explained everything to me in great detail. Everything was very quick and painless. It was a fantastic experience all the way around!

Out of all the animal vets I have dealt with over the years, Lake Area is the best one yet!! I do not and will not trust just anyone with my furbabies!!! But this is the best one yet!!! Such caring, loving, compassion, spoiling(if they could, I think). They just have that loving feeling when you walk in the doors..GOD BLESS THESE LOVELY PEOPLE..❤ud83dude4f❤ud83dude4f

The staff is professional and caring. We have used them for years. When my cat died I got a card signed by all the staff. We travel , but alway use this vet.

The positive reviews on here shock me. This has to be the worst vet experience I've ever had, and this was in 2016. The vet, Dr. Rea, came bouncing into the room dressed without a lab coat or any garment that would let you know she was a staff member, wearing a crumpled tee and jeans, didn't say who she was (like we would know her), and proceeded to tell us what was not wrong with our cat before she even examined him. Just horrible manners.nnDo yourself a favor and go to G'Ville or Jax where they have truly professional services and more courteous staff. I have my vet in Riverside, who I've visited for 19 years, but was in a pinch and went here while living in Gainesville. Bad idea. I found them lacking in both compassion and empathy.
