Reviews
Just like many other reviews (which I should have read before) we took our dog in because she can't open her eyes. The vet said she sees nothing wrong?!? 12 hours later my dog still can't open her eyes. We paid $125 for them to tell us nothing. Very disappointed. Will not be returning. Keep your money and go somewhere else. Our vet said Aloha is way better and more reasonable then this emergency hospital.nn*I totally understand that their is a fee for your service. As their should be. But no service was provided. The next day we took her to her vet and they said clearly she had pink eye and were confused as to how the emergency vet could not figure this out. It was a simple course of antibiotics. If your facility can not figure out an eye infection I definitely wouldn't want to trust you with something more emergent with our pets.
Wonderful, caring, and professional staff. Their prompt response and expertise saved my kittens life after a head trauma. They kept me updated every step of the way, treated my baby kitty like a prince and sent me home educated and confident in providing his aftercare. The facility is well kept and clean, and their COVID policies were great. Their prices are fair, and the entire process runs like a well oiled machine. Well done!
Savings lives and being kind! I had a great experience with Animal Specialty & Emergency Center. They were supportive during my cats treatment and super helpful with aftercare and answering all my questions. I never felt like I was 'bothering' them with my countless questions and they were extremely kind and welcoming. While I hope to never have to go back there I am happy to know they are there :)
So far they have been awesome. Took my blue Great Dane to them for a collapsed lung and I couldn't ask for better care. Dr D'Ambrosio was very knowledgeable and kept me informed at every change. She even sent me pictures of my baby so I could see that she was doing okay. We have 4 Great Danes, show them, and our male was number 32 in the country in 2019 and I don't trust my babies with just anyone. I highly recommend them for their excellent service and care!
I don’t even know where to start. From walking up to the building to the end, what a horrible experience. My poor puppy was very young and very sick.... I understand that. It took us 30 minutes to get into the front door. 2 hours later as the ER doc worked him up she called to let us know his heart had stopped and they performed CPR which was successful, however he was very sick and the odds on saving him were not good. As the options for hospitalization or euthanizing him were laid in front of us ($5-8 thousand dollars) his heart had stopped again. I told the doctor to please put him down, I don’t want him to suffer. She agreed and put me on hold. A few minutes later she came back on the line and said one of the nurses wanted me to sign the rights to my pup over to her as she wanted to give him a chance.nAre you kidding menDoes someone in the room know something that I’m not being told.nIs there a real chance he might make it?nHis heart just stopped twice at 12 weeks old. I don’t want him suffering, but someone in the ER is asking for the right to my dog.nSupposedly they honored my wish to have my pup put down as I didn’t want him to suffer. I called the next day to ask for his chart which was “incomplete”.nAnd somehow my wife and I are questioning if he’s still alive.nnCOMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND OUT OF LINE STAFF AND FACILITYnnI’ve called a few times to speak with a supervisor with no response. And when you try to give me the back line number, don’t bother I’ve already left you messages with no response.
