Moore Animal Hospital

My pets have gone to Moore since Dr. Lightehold owned the practice back in the 90s. Now that I’m an adult with my own pets & living in Fort Collins, I wanted to support them. They were great when they were in the smaller facility, but since the move they have grown to a capacity they no longer seem able to care for. I have taken my dog in for an annual check up & then received a call the next day that he was up for a vaccine. When I asked them why this wasn’t done during the time he was in the previous day, they said it was a mistake that “just happens”. Last week I took my other dog in & waited for almost 30 minutes before being seen, and then they called at 5:01 saying that he would need to stay the night & I would be charged (I was right outside). They simply responded to delete the vm they just left. Today I called our place where our dogs are boarded to play & they never received the vaccine list from Moore that Moore told them they’d send in last week. I asked this place in town where we take our dogs to play if they have any insight into Moore. The overwhelming response is that they are just too big to be able to smoothly run what once was a great business. I would highly recommend going elsewhere if you want good reliable care on your fur babies. I wish this business all the luck & hope they look at this, as I have tried to call in to discuss these issues & have never received a call back.

Refuse to quote pricing for basic vaccines for first time visitors. An honest company is up front from the get-go. Low income people need to plan ahead for spending, and policies like this completely overlook that reality.

The BEST vet I have EVER been to. All the staff are wonderful and caring. We have had sick puppies and they’ve been so accommodating and wonderful through the whole process and during their recovery. I couldn’t be more grateful for this vet hospital and all the staff that work here. I wish I could give this place 10 stars! I transferred our cats care here also after our great experience and trust them 100%. Thank you Moore!

I could not be any happier with the service and care that we consistently receive at Moore. The staff and providers are friendly, personable, and communicative. The new facility is beautiful and well thought out. They are involved in the community and have competitive prices for vet care in the area. I always recommend Moore to family and friends because I really trust their care. Thank you so much for all that you guys do!

This is our primary vet since we moved to Fort Collins, and we absolutely LOVE the care that our cat has received from Moore animal hospital. It has been difficult since covid with the curbside pick up, but they are always so on top of being right outside when you arrive to get you checked in. The techs come out immediately to pick up your animal, get a good history/background of what’s going on, and the vets call you promptly and are willing to talk to you on the phone for as long as you want. They don’t ever rush you on the phone and are willing to answer all your questions thoroughly, and always send you detailed information to your email/stay in touch during procedures. We have never had anything but good experiences with all the staff, from the initial phone call scheduling their appointments, to the final give back of our animals. The whole process goes super smooth, and we will be taking all our animals here and recommending this place to others as time goes on. Thank you guys for always being reliable, affordable, and most of all- patient with us and our little fur babies during this unprecedented time of the pandemic. Can’t wait to meet all the staff in person!
