As my Sister had to say goodbye to her Husband / Life Partner I felt the owner was very dismissive towards her. She and Jack spent the last 18 years together every day never apart. Because he never divorced his first wife Becky was not a factor. Very sad that Becky had to feel so alone in an already difficult time. When I ask the owner if he could at least acknowledge her he told me legally she had no say... My reply was She is a human being who regardless of legal status has feelings. He told me I was out of line.
John was very kind and understanding, and explained everything in detail and answered all of our questions. Everyone there reduced a lot of stress on us by making the whole process seamless. We can’t thank them enough for making a difficult situation easier.

I visited Ashley's Funeral Home yesterday. I did not know Mr Ashley retired and sold it. The new owner had absolutely no compassion at alln.. the impression i got from him is that its all about the money. He asked the strangest questions. I ended up going to another funeral and that person was awsome. I would not recommend anyone to use Ashley's funeral home. The new owner is giving Ashley's a bad name and they have always been the best in Middleboro.
