California Cremation & Burial

California Cremation & Burial Chapel provided me and my family with first rate service. We worked with Jeanette and she was incredible. She was available around the clock and responded quickly to any requests that we had. I was so impressed with how she and California Cremation & Burial Chapel accommodated our needs and went over and beyond to ensure that the service was special and memorable. During the pandemic, they provided a competitive price that was far better than many of the funeral homes that we considered. The facility was very clean and they offered a virtual option to view the service. (They did warn that there could be issues with the site, but we didn't experience any.) The sound system worked well and the technology for the slideshow also worked well. I would certainly use them again. The only downside is the location. It's an urban setting and located along a busy street. However, it's easy to forget where you are once you're inside. Parking may also be an issue outside the pandemic context as there's a small parking lot. Overall, we were very pleased and had a positive experience and would recommend them.

My brother recently passed away in San Diego, Ca. My family is in Chicago, Illinois and needed to have my brother cremated and returned to Chicago.nnFortunately for us, one of my brother's friend recommended that we take a look at California Cremation to handle his remains and we are very thankful that we did.nnI spoke to Liz who was very helpful. She made sure that we got all the information that we needed. She was professional, thoughtful and very kind and his remains were taken care of and returned to us quickly.nnThank you Liz , couldn't have done it without you!

The staff at California Cremation and Burial Chapel are extremely caring for the families who have lost their loved ones to death. They are very considerate, given the circumstances, and help the family through the process of cremation or burial. During the Coronavirus pandemic, the paperwork was done online, so no need to go in person to fill out forms.nThe staff make the family feel special and look out for their needs.nThey provided cremation services for my mother eight years ago and then this past month. Each time I used their services I was well taken care of and would recommend them to everyone.
